This election reminds me of the groundswell event of 1984, when Reagan took 49 states. The only state he didn’t take was Minnesota. Reagan didn’t campaign there out of some type of respect for his opponent, Walter Mondale, who’s home state was Minnesota. That was an election that even Trump didn’t surpass on this cycle. My state, New Mexico, could go red in the next cycle because they won’t get federal money if they insist on having sanctuary cities in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. I see happy days ahead.
