Personally, I think he should've agreed to another debate, because by backing off now, the only thing that's cemented in people's minds is how pathetically he performed in the last one. He didn't give himself the opportunity to take back the narrative or do better. Not that things are gonna necessarily be any better given that he's probably gonna rehash the same tired bs materials. But he could've at least tried.

Outside the U.S. it is a mystery to us all how Americans will follow someone like that? Trump literally has the mental capacity of a 3rd grader. Not a particularly bright one at that. That debate should have left no doubt about it.

@@ChrisAlbertH47 Except that we're talking about why people are following an insane, mentally challenged individual who was so easy to bait by Kamala, that he ended up losing the debate because of it. The fact is that Trump is mentally incapable of being cool and collected. He cannot control his emotions. Which is ironic, since the WOMAN who is his opponent, can do exactly that with ease. But the biggest reason why Trump was no match for Kamala Harris, is that she's a former PROSECUTOR with many years of experience. Debating a prosecutor is like being a drunk heckler trying to win a argument against a seasoned comedian.

I like the way the reporter showed partisanship, like when he used the term "bogus" describong one Trump claim. That is why I can't stand the media. I could give two sh... about either candidate, but when everyone gangs up on one candidate, it tends to lead me towards the one ganged up on. .

These debate platforms are supposed to inform the audience so they can make a better judgments with regards to their potential choices. So it's not explicitly a platform for these politicians to campaign further, but to be held accountable. Donnie being more of a target is understandable given that he's the one with the habit of talking as if he doesn't have to be accountable to any of it. The only objection I have, is that Harris should've been held to account for her lack of consistency as well. Because she herself has not exactly given critical audiences confidence that she has an actual strong stance on anything given her flipflops.
