Trump shooter was 'bullied every day... an outcast,' says school classmate | ABS-CBN News

Thomas Crooks, the man named by the FBI as the shooter in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, was "bullied every day" in high school, a high school class mate told media on Sunday (July 14).
Jason Kohler, who graduated from Bethel Park High School the year before Crooks, described him as an "outcast" who was "always alone."
Kohler said he did not have any interactions with Crooks but spoke of him sitting alone at lunch and wearing hunting outfits to school.
The 21-year-old local resident also said he thought Crooks had been on the school's rifle team, though he was uncertain.
Crooks graduated in 2022 from Bethel Park High School and received a $500 "star award" from the National Math and Science Initiative, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review newspaper.
The FBI identified 20-year-old Crooks as the suspect in the attempted assassination of former U.S. President Donald Trump at a campaign rally on Saturday (July 13). The suspect was shot and killed by the Secret Service seconds after he allegedly fired shots toward a stage where Trump was speaking in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Let’s be honest, thousands of people have been bullied everyday and not gone to these lengths…. In the generations before us, bullying was violent, demeaning and not done in secret… Teachers and professors were in on it and jocks were seen as local gods and heroes. To blame this on bullying is a sorry excuse for humanity, the reasons which we may never know, obviously run much deeper. Don’t cop out to this people.

i’m an outcast myself i go to therapy and take medication because i’m also antisocial and have self esteem issues so i don’t talk to people but some people aren’t as open about their problems. i’ve accepted the fact that i’m weird and awkward but i still find ways socialize and feel apart of my community so i won’t feel so distant from humanity. He must’ve felt like a total alien from his own human race to be able to do this. i’ve felt that feeling a lot of times before but i try to just get out there and socialize

This Jason Kohler kid was in a 30 minute interview where he literally said verbatim “he was one year up from me. (Graduated a year later) I just found out today I went to high school with him. I don’t know if I went to elementary school with him. I never saw him or met him.” So he needs to shut tf up and stop trying to capitalize on this, get on tv and get some clout when he didn’t even know the dude at all.
