Texas is not that red, & Houston is a big blue city so it's not hard for Harris to get a huge crowd there. Trump won Texas by 5.58%. It is not uncommon for a state to shift 10 or more points from one election to the next. Over the past several elections Texas has been getting less and less red. I doubt Harris will win Texas (Colin Allred's chances are better), but it would not be surprising. If current trends continue, Texas will flip blue within the next 10ish years
