What I can't understand are people's surprise at the two groups. Whites have always been like this in relation to blacks and other minorities throughout the country's history. Think of all of the ways minorities have been treated in the US. It was people like these 8 who might not have done anything directly to blacks and others, but they thought it was okay. You can trace this to a couple of things. We dismantled media regulation in this country. Republicans have also gone after education in a big way. So, you are no longer taught critical thinking in school and much of the country is blanketed with nothing but right-wing propaganda and this is the inevitable result. At work today, I was told that the Trump Indictment was politically motivated. I answered with the main points of the Indictment. The answer came " Why was Hillary Clinton or Biden not prosecuted?" I replied that they cooperated with the authorities from the outset. And Trump didn't. The guy walked out....Facts matter not feelings.
