More than watching Trump people should be checking Jay Leno host Johnny Carson's own show... when people, young ones, didn't like Leno one bit.... "too lame, Dave Letterman is for us younger audience", and "not funny at all". He is funny, not as SHARP as Letterman... but looking at the current situation with today's, tonight's more likely, talk show hosts... geez! Please come back Jay!!! Jay and Dave were friends, never stop being that... even when NBC disregarded Carson's recommendations and gave Leno the show. Trump is the same person then as it is now, perhaps a lot more intelligent and prepared. What I want to point is how Dave Letterman got a serious yet friendly antagonism with Donald Trump... probably bad blood because Letterman thought himself to be perfect, and that was a big lie he actually believed... but also because Trump was on par with Letterman, Letterman only punched at the same level or up (that mean nobody)... and they kept this rivalry for decades, to the point of Letterman actually admitting being wrong about retiring: "He was elected president, what did I do that!!!!" I think Letterman really understood Trump and accepted he was up to the fight with him... perhaps fearing what Trump was not showing: honesty instead of lies... that is scary. But then Letterman liked Hussein Obama's presidency... he was then not that intelligent after all
