Here is the correct advice: Don't waste your income and savings on tattoos, foreign travel, new cars, expensive watches, annual replacement phones, and designer everything. Maintain a very healthy body and teeth. Don't smoke anything, and limit alcohol consumption to one night per week, if that. Don't buy expensive gifts for girls who don't love you, and develop hobbies to enrich your life. Anything else?
@travelingdude1621Ай бұрын
Nothing wrong with getting a small, inexpensive tattoo and traveling the country and the world. The advice I’d give to my younger self is to stay healthy overall, keep God in my life, spend more time with my parents, family and real friends, keep challenging myself, keep learning new things, find a beautiful, smart, traditional woman that loves me for me, find a job I like to do that I can make a great living out of, be fully independent on my own, stay out of debt, increase savings, invest over the long-term and be fully retired as a millionaire by age 65. 😃👍🏻🇺🇸

Agree on most. But there is benefit to foreign travel. You can fly to Europe for $500. I would add in keep hydrated, use sun block, and do at least 90 mins of cardio per week, limit social media. Weed is a better vice than alcohol but some people can’t handle it. Take calculated risks at a young age. Live life based on facts not hope. And if you are 25 make sure to get your education by 30

He's a freaking narcissist. I don't know how these people take him seriously…
@odysseynoone3831Ай бұрын
@@zacharymalone9901 He wasn't giving a generic life advice to 25 year olds all over the world, he was directing his advice to the young people in Michigan. They told him backstage they wanted to stay and work in Michigan but stated their concerns, so he gave them an assurance that they will have what they need to thrive where they want to live. That's great and concrete. But you expected a motivational advice and so reflexively you think he's stupid and narcissistic.
@zacharymalone9901Ай бұрын
@@odysseynoone3831First of all you're just wrong. The guy interviewing Trump specifically asked for generic life advice that was apolitical. He literally said that it's a tradition to ask everyone that he has interviewed way before Trump ever ran for office, what advice would you give to your 25-year-old self. Now if the interviewer would have asked Trump what reassurances would you give to the Michigan people instead of asking what advice you would give to a young person on how to succeed, then maybe I would agree with you. Just rewatch the clip. Any normal person would realize that this is just a simple question asking for Life advice that has nothing to do with politics. What makes his answer so narcissistic and kind of authoritarian is the context of the question, and his answer to it. The answer you would expect is not this huge motivational life-changing speech as you would say, but some basic life skills that either a businessman or a life coach would give to someone at a young age. But instead Trump makes his answer a political one and about himself, by spewing out his dark and hateful rhetoric that America is a failing Nation, the American dream is dead, that America has no future and so on and so on, and that he will come in as the Great supreme leader and fix all of your problems. Essentially his answer is to vote for me, and somehow, or in some way (that is not clear mind you), I will fix all of your problems. How is that not narcissistic and in a sense authoritarian? Especially in the context of this apolitical question, when the answer should be about empowering the agency of young people by giving them simple life advice that Trump should have learned, not telling them to just vote for him, and give all of their agency to him to fix their problems.

Why can’t we have candidates that we can genuinely get behind and support… is that too much to ask?
@Optim40Ай бұрын
I would say not to get involved in politics or societal issues, mind your business, don't think you're equal to people older than you. Enjoy your youth because you'll never get it back. Don't waste it being upset following political or societal agendas.

But choose wisely and you will be so much better off with the Trump/Vance, Tulsi, RFK and Musk DREAM TEAM.
