@@tonya--7704I’ve worked at MDC/Boeing for 34 years. St Louis has its own role in ruining the company. They took over after the merger. They are a selfish culture and haven’t won a major contract in 40 years. While they couldn’t win new things, they’ve gutted the other divisions of work and at one point 40% of their revenue was due to transferred work from the C-17 program in LB. C-17 laid off 2,000 workers because of this. They cut all overhead, including R&D. We haven’t done any significant technology (outside of the satellite division) in 20 years. Elon hired the Delta Clipper guys from Huntington Beach. Now, he’s got self landing rockets. The Blended Wing Body is the next gen commercial aircraft. The Advanced Design guys were in Long Beach and were constantly rebuffed by the Seattle guys. Now, JetZero in Long Beach (same guys) is going to have 1st flight of a mid level market plane in 2027. 40% better fuel mileage. Bottom line. We did it to ourselves. I’ve loved my career here, but am ready t leave this place while it’s in tatters.
