So, it is unfortunate that many complain and are upset about his upcoming administration, rally and inauguration. Just think about all of the work and attention to detail that goes into this glorious fete. People travel from far and wide to celebrate. This special day is the modern equivalent of the pilgrims crossing the Atlantic to find freedom from monarchy on these moneyed shores. Many have missed out on the holidays and have been unable to see close friends and/or relatives this year due to the frenetic pace of the big box billing cycle bonanza. There has been much gossip and he said/she said about this joyous day in January. In our little region out here near Des Moines, many at our community center have been planning our trip to DC to be able to catch a glimpse of America's Patriarch in all his splendor and ragged glory. My aunt Ginny Higginbottoms is our event coordinator and we plan to leave very early in the morning, a couple of days before, to make it to the inauguration. We have an old used cargo van with 350,000 miles on it that is rearing and ready to go like Elon's trouser rocket on a saturday night! Of course, it will be quite a long trip and there has been much buzz and excitement about seeing different big boxes and gas stations along the route. Maybe someone can answer this question? Is the plastic ware that one buys at the local Pimp Mart in let's say Des Moines, the same as the type sold in, I don't know, Columbus, Ohio? We're not sure if all brands have been standardized across this complex land. Our local food professional Gustavius Alexanderplatz Snert, who happens to hail from Czech Republic, will be our group food provider/coordinator for the trip by cargo van. He will prepare everything and it will be ready to go on the 18th-a baked spam meatloaf with chicken gizzard gravy and discount instant mashed potatoes, plus, a multitude of cheap supermarket pies to tantalize our sweet tooth and grow our gullets. So, yes he was a professional chef back home and he knows how to prepare stick to your ribs comfort food. I can't wait for this special day to arrive. As for me, I have an eye for fashion due to studying at Institut Francais de la Mode in Paris during the late 90's. So, if any of you are there and wish to greet our little group, I'll be the one dressed in a spandex leotard with oversized night shirt displaying the faces of Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Swaggart.
