I honestly felt the same way especially when he made those comments in 2016. However, once he met Donald Trump he totally changed. When he ran for the Senate in 2022 he publicly apologized for those comments and admitted he was wrong because he didn't know the man. He won his Senate race because he was backed by Donald Trump and has been a staunch supporter ever since. Like him or not, he has proven to be very loyal to conservatives, he has kept his promises he campaigned on and he and Jim Jordan have done a phenomenal job representing the state of Ohio.

The evangelical and religious people on the fence make up a lot of voters, who probably won’t feel motivated to vote now. Trump could have had a Reagan victory. Scott is presidential period.
