The presidential power to pardon has no time constraints as several people, dead and alive, have been pardoned for crimes long past. The 10 years specified here covers the RICO statute of limitations which is Biden pardoning himself as Hunter cannot be arrested and squeezed for info on the Biden Crime Families activities now.

Trump is a convicted sex offender. Trump stole classified documents on behalf of America's enemies. Trump organized and led an insurrection in an effort to commit treason and overthrow our government. 1,219,500 Americans died of Covid19 because Trump deliberately mishandled a pandemic. Trump took a $2 Billion bribe from Saudi Arabia.

In his role as president of the United States (January 20, 2017 - January 20, 2021), Donald Trump granted executive clemency to 237 individuals charged or convicted of federal criminal offenses, using his clemency power under Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution. Ordinarily, all requests for executive clemency for federal offenses are directed to the Office of the Pardon Attorney (OPA) in the U.S. Department of Justice for review; however, Trump frequently bypassed the OPA, and the majority of his executive clemency grants were made to well-connected convicts who did not file a petition with the OPA or meet the OPA's requirements. Overall, Trump granted less clemency than many of the modern presidents. Of the pardons and commutations that Trump did grant, the vast majority were to persons to whom Trump had a personal or political connection, or persons for whom executive clemency served a political goal] A significant number had been convicted of fraud or public corruption.[5] The New York Times reported that during the closing days of the Trump presidency, individuals with access to the administration, such as former administration officials, were soliciting fees to lobby for presidential pardons. So, Clinton did it first, for his half brother and business associate then Trump for Jared's dad, and now Biden for his son. Please, get real people!

It’s an illegal use of the Presidential Pardon. Article 2, section II of the Constitution. 1. Presidential pardons cannot place the president above the law Two kinds of pardons would function to place a president above the law: a self-pardon and a self-protective pardon (that is, a pardon that has the intent and effect of impeding an investigation into a president or his interests and that would thus amount to a self-pardon).

OMG! Hunter never committed insurrection and wasn't part of the assault on Jan 6th. It's proven that the crimes Hunter committed are not in anyway deserving of the punishment put on him by the hateful Republicans.

Doesn't matter what any of us think. We all collectively told this man he was too old and had to go. He was stripped of his agency and cast aside by his own party. He is old and will go quietly into the night sooner than later. This doesn't surprise me at all. And from his prospective I'm thinking he's saying: Deal with it. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump pardons some people that make us go huh.

This reporting would be comical if it wasn't so criminal. The gun charge, which normally carries an out of jail type probation sentence, should never have been a jail sentence. The tax avoidance sentence never considered the fact that Biden paid in full the taxes due. Lastly, since the American people decided to send a convicted felon to the White House, it doesn't make much sense for a politically convicted felon to go to jail. Thank you, Joe Biden, for correcting this grave injustice and enjoy a grand holiday season.

Ah, alas, my talents do not extend to curing the epidemic of stupidity. Brace yourselves because what follows will undoubtedly soar far above the intellectual altitudes most of you can reach. Do try to keep up-or don’t, I suppose ignorance must be bliss for a reason. Ok, here we go.... again.... One must marvel at the staggering intellect it takes to assume that the rest of humanity shares the same depth of ignorance Trump so proudly exhibits. Truly, it must require Herculean levels of naivety-or perhaps just profound contempt for his followers-to imagine they won't notice the blatant absurdity of pardoning criminals while simultaneously accusing Biden of familial impropriety. But then again, with a base comprised of those blissfully untethered from the burdens of higher education, perhaps his confidence isn't entirely misplaced. After all, who better to lead the charge into societal oblivion than a man so uniquely suited to pilot this proverbial handbasket straight to hell?
