@@Mexitplans Mind if I ask what the expat community is like in Merida? I keep arguing with myself between Merida and Ajijic. In Ajijic it seems like the expat community is tight and there for each other if stuff goes wrong. Is it like that in Merida?

It's amazing. It's more immersed that the community of Ajijc. Here many retirees live in centro or the beach. Many families live around the city. It's a great place to raise a family or retire if you can stand the heat.

Instead, you present yourself with dignity. I appreciate you! Nonetheless, when BILLIONAIRE ZIONIST Miriam Adelson BOUGHT TRUMP for $100MILLION, I knew the game was over. I am Lebanese-American, and my heart hurts for Lebanon 🇱🇧 💔 and Palestine 🇵🇸 💔. I appreciate your fondness for Merida, as I do miss Merida and Progreso, but Merida is not representative of all of Mexico. I, too, was in Merida during México's recent Presidential election. As I recall, there were more than 30 candiates and journalists murdered during the campaign. More recently, the cartels have been warring amongsts themselves sending a clear message to President Claudia Sheinbaum that they do not respect her, nor her authority!! México is a 'machismo' culture, and it appears it still is. I look forward to your work. Take care.

@@belliott4844, I agree. When I heard Trump say he is going to put tariffs on John Deere products manufactured in Mexico, I couldn't believe the author of "The Art Of The Deal" could be that STUPID! Mexico is an integral North American partner and Mexico is uniquely situated between Latin America and North America. So, Donald, if you slap tariffs on products manufactured in other countries, what prevents other countries from placing tariffs on products manufactured in the USA?! All anyone need do is watch the insanity in California is you want to see how to run off manufacturers...
