"Working" means the employer deducts taxes (in my country as in the US) at an "emergency rate". My ancestors worked in several "countries" which are now different ones. Yours?

It's impossible not to pay tax in the usa even when you're not legal. IRS assigns itin to ever undocumented person so they can file taxes and the taxes are always held on the check. There's no way around not paying tax unless the employer pays them with Cash which most do not.
