Peter can you comment on what it exactly is that you want for the country or what your main solutions are moving forward? I guess I am confused like even though Trump is one man and can't fix all this, what is the best option after that? Is there anyway you could like mentor or be hired in his administration somehow? You have so much knowledge and I struggle to see where you're getting at other than we need to get back to a blank slate as a country and cut government spending right? He served 1 1/2 years in prison. He continued operation of his business until 1992 when a non descript envelope arrived one day with a principal tax due of $30K plus int & penalty amounted to over $1.2 million - my dad said, o.k., take the business and liquidated. The U.S. Navy kept his proprietary defense system he had designed and taken several trips to Washington to get the Navy interested, etc. ... it really was a blow to him. The debt can never be repaid because the dollars don’t exist to pay it. I see a lot of people pointing that out, but I haven’t seen anyone yet who can actually forward an idea that would make sense for all alleviating it. We could tell the reserve banking system to go fuck themselves, and have the treasury take back the function of creating currency, but then we still have what $8 trillion worth of foreign debt holders? What about them? If we don’t pay them their interest, then we default in the value of the dollar crashes like crazy anyway. So other than a world war where we destroy all the countries that we owe money to, or some sort of zombie apocalypse situation, how do we handle $36 trillion worth of debt?
@zoraster374922 күн бұрын
Write it down 80%, balance the budget, can’t borrow again for a while, let the free market set the interest rate, refinance the 20% that is left into a special 40-year bond where they can lock into a better interest rate in the new free market to compensate them for the loss of principal. 🤷♂️

Are you an expert on America's debt problem? Based on what you wrote, you are clueless on which you speak. Fact is, America has the resources and the knowledge to fix the debt problem. Side one was the democrats who hated him, but side two were the moderate Republicans and especially rinos and never trumpers. The pain, and what they were doing, and are still trying to do, have been, and still are very public and open for all of us to see. I believe Trump will be more cautious this time around, and the voters, who, along with Trump have been through political hell for all of about 8 years will be less gullible to believe any of the political shenanigans this time around. Why bash reducing income taxes? The income tax is a terrible tax. Isn’t that the reason you moved to Puerto Rico? 4% earned income tax and 0% tax on dividends?
@sulimanthemagnificent489321 күн бұрын
Because of the financial situation. If you abolish the income tax, you make it literally impossible to pay off the debt (it’s already practically (but not theoretically) impossible)

@williamshouldiceii54620 күн бұрын
Peter you are one of my favorite people to listen to because you’re honesty is entwined with every bit of dialogue that you put out however, I disagree with you on that the economy is the main reason why people voted Trump… I voted for him because I’m sick of the left transitioning our kids and propagating them in our schools, trying to push abortion to nine month terms the influx of illegal migrants into our country. I see them every day and the effects on our Community.. our economy is going to be what it is, just like you say there’s no escaping that, but there are far more greater things at stake such as our moral fabric of our country being torn to hell
