Hey Peter I took your advice and bought a couple hundred dollars in junk silver. I would’ve bought from your website, but your website is designed like a Sears catalog. Stop being an old boomer and reduce the friction when it comes to e-commerce. Why do I have to message, email, or call someone to place an order? I should be able to select an item and checkout with a handful of payment options.

Newmont Corporation (NEM), as shown on the scrolling ticker was $44/share back then in 2013. Today, 11 years later, it's at $42/share! Negative growth over the course of more than a decade. Note: There were no stock splits in that time period for NEM.

Nobody wins. We all lose. Rich people just lose a little less, or slower. Eventually when the dollar collapses, there will be major crisis, civil unrest, revolution, ans then some replacement fiat just as the thousands of fiats before it. Cycle continues. We just happen to be the unlucky ones to experience the end of it and not the early or middle part of it.

I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.

Rich billionaires aren't innocent either. They are part of the corporate-state merger corruption. Think of big pharma and military industrial companies. Regular middle class is struggling to buy food and these billionaires are crying about this new few percentage point tax increase. Haha. What about you rich folk actually create jobs that pay an amount that make regular folk able to live meaningfully. But no all you do is invest the money in stocks in hopes of getting even more rich which only perpetrates the gap between middle class and ultra rich. The stocks are fake, they don't bring any jobs, and are part of the corruption between state and big corporations. Its ridiculous to think the rich people are without accountability in these recession times. So yeah they are unconstitutional but the state is trying to get money from somewhere to prolong the inevitable bankruptcy. If it had to take it from the poor middle class or ultra rich, i choose the latter.

The FED is saying the economic growth is causing inflation because it is but it's artificial unsustainable growth created by fraudulent monetary policies as well as economic policies all contributing to a boom and finally a bust created from this economic and monetary Monopoly system.... of course the Federal Reserve is not going to come out and say this..... they're going to leave that out and just basically a tribute the inflation to economic growth without implicating the Monopoly system that has been in place since the Sumerians.. Monopoly over economy and monetary unit are what we use to determine the misery index even if it is established by factoring unemployment rate and rate of inflation because these two factors are more deeply embedded in the root cause of Monopoly in general... for private individuals to seek to subvert the Federal Reserve from the people and into their hands as well as every other Central Bank in the world so that they can arbitrarily decide what type of system we will have in the future and in any particular geographic area of the world or even the entire world under one system... if you look at Global policies you might see something that looks kind of communist with sprinkles of fascism on it..... well they can accomplish a complete transition to Global communism because private individuals on all the central banks in the world and with that power they can control and do control the economies as well as the monetary systems... complete power over all modern societies short of Aboriginal people that still live in the jungles

One fact appears to be lost among all the words being hurled around, and that is that money is Gold - all else is Credit. All credit systems (fiat currencies) start out being based on tangible Gold but then Credit eventually gets abused by Usury and the currency representing Credit becomes valueless. This why people own Gold. When the Credit system blows up from the public's inability to pay the debt created, people are left with a useless currency. The last man standing is Gold. Gold represents Money - Currency represents Credit.

In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns.
