Unfortunately the executive branch has accumulated too much power for itself, and that was aided by the very congress that was supposed to check them. Politics does have a great effect on your life, the economy effects your life, whether you get sent off to war or not effects your life, whether your city suddenly becomes unrecognizable because of the massive influx of illegal immigrants and homelessness, all effects your life and is all directly or indirectly effecting you and the nation as a whole. "You should take an interest in politics, or politics might take an interest in you." - Pericles. "The price of apathy towards public affairs is to be ruled by evil men." - Plato, The Republic. Wise words that are still true today.

Righteous politics - TRUMP's brand of politics - are precisely what this nation needs in order to return to normal, and to succeed in every way which actually matters, and do so on a very HIGH level ... you know, a level of achievement of the sort which royally pisses of all Democrats. Trump's politics serve actual CITIZENS ... while Democrats can only manage to serve themselves because of their profound narcissism, their anti-Americanism, and their hatred of the nation which won't allow any other path for them to follow -

Since 2016 it has become more obvious that there's a lot more to it than we were led to believe. I applaud you for speaking candidly to those of us who were born here. I met a man when I was in my late teens who was a naturalized American, who grew up in Hitler's Germany and was drafted into their youth divisions at the end of the war. He thanks God that he was captured by the Allies at the end of the war. He went around the country teaching Americans about the importance of patriotism and how blessed we are to have been born here. So, young man, keep up the good work! WE do have a lot still remaining that needs to be done. Thank you.

very good video. Possibly bureaucracy isn't what some people think it is though. The police and lawyers actively enforce laws. Bureaucracy passively enforces laws. it does the vast majority of this work. Everything you use, consume, drive is controlled by bureaucracy. it ensure the gun you fire won't blow up in your face, the car you drive is safe, the buttons on your jacket aren't radioactive, the beefburger you eat isn't a catburger. Without this we'll turn into a third world country fast. It's also like a house of cards, remove one part of it, and it will all fall down. those annoying forms ensure it is being followed. Maybe the reason America is great is because of the bureaucracy it has chosen.

I'm personally not a fan of allowing someone in office who would happily paint me as a criminal for simply believing I have a right to self preservation, and the ability to safeguard the life of myself and those I love. PS. I've said it time and time again, the circus around the executive is severely detrimental to the health of our country. House and Senate are incredibly powerful, and our state governments are INCREDIBLY important and most of the guys I know don't get this fact. They are entirely unaware that if they want to effect change, they should be researching their local representatives, and they should be taking a hard look at who goes to represent their state on the national level.

If you are a gay person, or LBGQT person you are going to see a lot of changes and lose of protections. Healthcare in the country can be ripped to shreds with this person and their ideals on health care. Instead of building a country that can work together instead of being dictated by one party. We have moved so far away from working together its scary. What America needs right NOW is term limits for ALL ELECTED OFFICIALS including the Supreme Court. The rich will stay rich since the laws are stacked in their favor. This person has a mentality that DRILL DRILL DRILL will save the country, yet we are the largest producer of crude oil right now, we are pumping crude back into the earth because we do NOT have the refining capacity. Gas prices will not drop because he says so. When he and his billionaire buddy Elon decide to gut the federal government and cut the programs that help the majority is what we are going to see. I fear our Veterans are the ones that will be the ones that suffer the greatest injustice in this whole 4 years of this.

I appreciate your sincerity, but respectively disagree. America is the premier example of how politics effects the individual, society and the nation. Just one example of how politics effects everybody is the political imposition of the global economy model and the subsequent economic decimation of the economy and its catastrophic effect on the American people. No man is an island. A lot of hard working positive people lost their livelihood because of politics. Trump winning was I believe a Good thing, but by necessity, all politicians are only as good as their last action. My advice to anyone is study the antecedents to WW2 and then the subsequent cover ups after the war and you will be in a better position to understand the world today. But while politics and mr.45+47 might not make such big impact on your life in the short term, it will shape your society in the long term. However I do not remember seeing any form of true leadership from mr. Trump. Be it before, in office and after. What I remember about his term was the influx of alternative facts and anti-intellectualism which now runs rampant in the scourge of dis- and misinformation. So in this day and age where we ought to stand true I find it hard to see Trump be the leader needed. 10:21 "you care so much about who's in power" may simple be a matter of "us versus them". I believe it is natural to disagree and it being healthy to discuss your opinions. But I find it to be a lack of character if you find the need to demean anyone.

as much as I want to agree with you, this is a man who has blatantly, and repeatedly spit in the face of the founding documents and values of this nation. The fact we have elected a president who word for word supported the termination of our constitution is a disgrace. regardless of my personal political opinion, any man or woman who says such words is not only unworthy of public office, but unworthy to be an American. If he cannot so much as respect our most sacred ideals, he is not only a danger to democracy, but is the antithesis of everything this beautiful nation was founded on. we should be ashamed a man like this is even able to exist in America, let alone run for our highest office. He is more a traitor than the confederate traitor president Jefferson Davis ever was, because at least Davis respected the constitution enough to copy it word for word. As his campaign ads have said(im not joking this is a real line of text featured in one of his campaign ads) "Industrial strength significantly increased, driven by the creation of a unified reich". he is no american.

The next question is: Considering the power Trump has amassed including the supreme court one might argue that he will change or interpret the constitution to his liking.
