No really religious person really reads just the Bible, much of it is written as history and prophecy and depending on the version, way above the comprehension of many. My mom was a faithful Christian, and charitable despite her lack of understanding of the Bible, she read a version actually written for children daily, prayed and practiced her own version of charity and encouraged others to find strength in God and themselves. Trump is good at selling his name as a brand, and loving the uneducated as he says he does, means he enjoys manipulating others to follow his words and deeds, not what is believed to be godly.

It was never meant to be read continuously cover to cover. Pick a subject you want to learn, use the guide and you will be directed to specific books and verses. If you want to know history, you have to select a person or specific event and research it in different books and testaments, utilizing the writing of many authors. The words in red or gold are God’s chosen words and whole books of the Bible are authored by many. The Bible is a compilation of books, and the Protestant and Catholic versions are not nearly the same.
