TrumpetScout plays an Olds Recording

In this video, the TrumpetScout playtests an Olds Recording from 1971. It features a red brass bell, a unique ergonomic design and gives a very nice feedback to the player. It seems to be the trumpet you always wanted but with odd looks ;)

I have a ‘68 model I bought new in ‘76 (shop demo here in Oz). It’s a fantastic horn I’ve used as a lead player for the last 40+ years. Currently restoring it. I got mine because my teacher (Max Goldberg) was playing one. Look him up. The guy was an absolute legend during the war era. Played on over 160 albums and featured with the big name bands in that timeframe. I’ve never heard a better player.
