If we send the file to someone else and if he disable the macros it means that macros will not work ? For example if I protect the file thru macros and other things.

Please help, I want to copy certain range of a single row as a line into another workbook and another set of range from the same row to another workbook as a new line next to the already paste data thereafter certain range from the same row as a new Line to another line into another workbook right after the first two row. Please confirm how would I write a vba code for that

Thank you Trump excel for this wonderful series of Free VBA course. I am following your videos regularly for two reasons. One to increase my knowledge in excel and increase my English vocabulary. You have very fluent speech in English and that has impressed me a lot. We all learn Lot from you. Today you explained us about two excel format xls and xlsm. What if i get a file from a friend and if i want to write or run macros in that sheet for further automation, Do i need to save that sheet in xlsm format.

Thanks for the kind words :) You can run macros in an XLSX file, but if you want these to be saved while saving the workbook, you need to change the file format to .XLSM
