The covid relief that brought funds to Americans in need during unprecedented lockdowns? Was it short cited? Yea, I didn't think it was a great idea either, but when faced with a historic worldwide emergency like that, it was a reasonable decision on his behalf that was also universally supported. The guy up to that point had been a politician for barely 3 and a half years. The system that brought you such a massive spending bill has been in place for decades. About five or six people, clearly angered by my post, responded with variations on "But who will build the roads". One guy just went personal and informed everyone that I lacked all human compassion and empathy and was "an extreme elitist". None addressed the issue - my claim that "taxation is theft". We would lose our jobs 2 ways, First way, we have to quit work to stop the automatic deductions from our paychecks.
