I drafted a Shaman earlier with A rag and two Cairnes. The rest of the deck was terrible. No hex, no lightning storm, no fire ele, no wolves. I think the only shaman card I had was one lightning bolt

i once had a shaman deck with 1 doomhammer, 2 ragnaros & 1 Ysera, i took 2 pictures (1 of the draft & 1 of all those cards in the game) lol also a mage deck with 2 archmage antonidas also took 2 pictures (1 of the draft & 1 with both archmages on field & 6 fireballs in hand)

All of the losses Trump has in this arena are from extremely greedy play.. This whole run in general is played way too greedily.

Trump has really helped me to get better in arena! I used to not be able to get more than 4 wins, and yesterday I got my record arena 9-3 :D Also in the pack from that I got Sylvanas. Thanks a lot Trump for the help, and Jens too for helping Trump keeping the channel going!

You have a tendency to play too greedily against warlock whereas where you should be playing extremely aggressively against them to stop them from abusing tap & flooding the board, if you take away their hp you take away their ability to control the match.

The last game against the warlock, Trump gained a lot of card advantage, he successfully saved 2 Truesilver champions, AND BRING THEM TO THE TOMB. just look at Trump's hand when he dies, True Silver x2, Dark iron dwarf x1, Imp master, Stormwind champion, Blessing of kings...SO MUCH GOOD CARDS... Sometimes, if you give up some value in front of you, you might have get even more value in the future, I mean, he's got 2 Truesilvers, he can use one not so efficiently (killing that voil walker, then got a chance keep removing opponent's minions.), but instead, turn 3 he choose to summon a guy... that's toooooo greedy man!! That tempo play costs him the game. You might lose some value by using that truesilver, but you win the board. But, anyway, this is Trump's style, he'd like to do the "value" "greedy" "card advantage" game." And, he did, gain a lot of card advantage, he successfully saved 2 Truesilver champions, and bring them to the tomb.

Rafael Gonzalez Right, except for when it isn't. It depends heavily on your board position, otherwise it's just a 1 for 1 junk card that trades with far weaker shit. There are cards that are objectively good in any scenario, you can call these "true value" if you like, sure, and then there are cards that require specific circumstances to do work. Like the cult master.

It was summoned by the Voidcaller, minions summoned by other minions and just generally by any other way than playing them don't get their battlecry. For example, if a card had a Deathrattle: Summon Alextrasza, you would not get to select to change the health of a hero to 15, you'd just get an 8/8. Hope I helped clear it up.

all secrets cost the same for a class but different to others (all hunter´s traps cost 2 mana, all paladins cost 1 mana, all mage´s cost 3 mana)

Why does Trump hold the novice engineer? I thought the only reason to avoid playing it instead of hero power(paladin) was because of overdraw.

In most circumstances the effect of the novice engineer is essentially identical to the paladin hero power (i.e. a 2 mana 1/1 that doesn't cost a card) so, as you can only use the hero power once per turn, saving the novice engineer let's you effectively hero power twice in a turn. Also, novice engineer itself won't make you overdraw since the card you draw replaces the novice in your hand.

Why is Trump falling back to his old control style (which lacks value ultra hard). Hitting a 2/2 with an 8/6... come on! He'll trade his 2/2 in by 90% chance anyway. Simply missed 8 damage there. Can't justify Trump's play in any way there in my opinion. Edit: He did it like 10 times in this video :o

grthwllms i dont think so, the turn before he could use one of those spells for clear and he didnt, so he had to topdeck. now, what is the rate he can drop 1 of those 3 cards? the same if i tell u, imagine after it he clear the board, he get board control, and win by 5 hp points, those are suppositions. the fact is, 6 life in a warlock have more value than 2 cards 1/1 imo, more when hes lack of cards in hands. sorry for my english.

I think Trump plays not well as a pally. Make too many guys and lose the board control, esp. when you have few taunts. Your opponents can just hit your face to death when you still have a hand of cards.

that's like, the first rule of pally: make a lot of guys. it gets you so much value in card advantage. while there sure are times when you don't want to make a guy, if you have no real reason to play a 2 drop or even some 3 drops in hand, then it's better to recruit.

MABSGaming If you mean the ladder rule, I can agree. But when we play arena, rule will always change based on what our deck is. Trump's deck doesn't have many spells/charges to quickly revert the board once his opponent gets control. And he has no healing at all and few taunts, so he really needs to "quickly revert". In my opinion, it's best for him to keep advantage (to play more cards instead of making guys) on the board, even that means he would has few card at hand. Actually he still has many cards at hand when he loses.

joestien smiet Man, value is important but must be balanced with HP. If you spell a corruption on a DeathWing, it's of great value because you use 1 mana and kill 10 mana creature. But you have to pay 12hp for the "value". The rule "Pally always needs to make a guy" is based on that you have enough time & hp to revert the board control, which pally normally has (GoK, Pyro+Eq, taunts as Fording) but Trump's deck lacks. So he really needs to keep the board advantage. Value is a means and not an end. I personally don't think it's wise to keep a hand of value when you lose...

Why is it that Trump says blood knight and MC tech are good cards because they're 3 mana 3/3's (he rarely considers them for their abilities) but for some reason the grizzly, a 3 mana 3/3 who ALWAYS has taunt is for some reason a terrible card.

Because they have decent stats and great abilities l, arena is about board pressence so MC tech is good and with a lot of minions you get a lot of divine shield so bloodknight is good

Cause the grizzly dies to almost every 2 drop. Blood Knight is an okay card, since many people run at least one card with divine shield but MC Tech has the potential to become a tableflip card in many situations.

Blake Visentin Agreed, if bloodknight absorbs even 1 divine shield it's massive, a turn 3 6/6 and it sucks the shield off the 3/1 (can't remember the name) or even a argent squire. Lost value for them, massively gained value for you. I've lost to it before.

he should have drafted the kobold over the novice anyway. 2/2 instead of 1/1 and the extra spell damage (he already had 2 consecrates when pick showed up in draft) would have cleared the last guys board and probably wins him the game.

when I play mage I only get 1 to 3 spells, and when I'm against a mage in arena They ALWAYS have 2 frostbolts, 2-4 fireballs, 1-2 polimorphs, so much anoying removals.
