Her biggest issue has always been she's slow. She's fairly expensive at 5 mana, low stats, and needs setup to be good. Chances are you can only play her with maybe 1 or 2 battlecry cards, which means she typically had low returns. Scions are a fast, duplicating card that is cheap enough to be played with her in one turn. It's finally the card that made her work. Trump finally found his golden goose deck.

After piloting this deck to legend before the new year, I can safely say it is a strong and more importantly CONSISTENT deck. You won’t beat high rolls often, but you can beat most other decks in a fair fight. Edit: after watching the video in full this version does seem to do well. In my version though i cut blood-sworn merc for siamat for more flexability with rhino. Other possible slot-ins can include Leroy for burst, acolyte for even more consistent drawing or even akali (

I dont think that actually happened. Nozdormu sets turn length to 15 secs, and your turn starts only when all enemy animations were played.

I don't have spirit of the rhino, so I'm experimenting with commanding shout (yes, really) as a one-of (similar to how you have the single bloodsworn mercenary (I didn't get a huge amount of value off running Battle Rage much). Turns out that Commanding Shout is pretty good still, even if I'd say it's worse than the spirit. It's main upside is that it works on minions played in previous turns and non-rush minions. My other Secret Sauce (aka too cheap to craft legends/epics) tech is my Youthful Brewmaster. Works as a vanilla 3/2 in a pinch, bounces Kronx, Deathwing and any of the charge/rush minions. Not as valuable as the Barista, but also free.

Warrior has the best galakrond imo. Shaman gets a 2 damage rush from invoke but warrior essentially gets a 3 damage charge. Also drawing a bunch of minions that gain +4/+4 is pretty scary. Especially if you go the forbidden mech route that no one seems to be doing.

Sounds like a compliment :) If this deck takes over the meta just counter with Rez Priest.Having an empty board a lot of the time counters rush and you can make more Khartut Defenders than they can make Scion of Ruin. + Breath of the Infinite.

I played a similar varient of this deck exclusively for the last 10 days or so and it's biggest weakness is deathrattle rogues, I kept finding so many of them at one point so i swapped out barista for a silence and one charge for zephrys for more flex. Barista aint too good as your best target is scion but more often that not it would get fliked. Didnt run bloodsworn either had a snip-snap instead, magnetise rover or zilliax helped often vs aggro.

Galakrond warrior def one of the decks that took me by surprise its an aggro/otk combo hybrid kinda like singleton hunter but better since it is more consistent. Even if you are at 30 health if Galakrond buffs Leeroy Jenkins you are dead regardless.

So the next day Trump started playing this deck with 2 dragon breeders and Voone to copy more scions. I think he prefers that deck. I kinda preferred this list so I crafted most of it except for the livewire lances and bloodsworn mercenary as I didn't see them as core, but the legendaries were. I don't think kkona elite is necessary. It has synergy if you draw it with galakrond, and Trump said it can be an "aggro or otk" deck with the elite and bloodsworn mercenary but that's really pulling the deck in too many directions. IMO you don't want it. But I'm not sure what to replace it with. If you add too many rush cards, the town criers will be less likely to draw Scion of Ruin but that also means Galakrond is slightly more likely to draw them. You are also less likely to whiff with town crier and more likely to get a rush minion for spirit of the rhino. There's probably some optimal number. I'm an idiot and forgot to craft spirit of the rhino XD.

I’ve actually been playing a more combo focused version of this deck. It can consistently do about 20ish damage, and with the invoke cards, getting 10 damage in early isn’t hard. It still wrecks aggro decks, but beats the control decks more consistently since healing isn’t ran in most decks.

It can struggle a bit with control warrior/quest priest, but if you hit right, you can do over 40 damage in a turn. Those matchups are much more draw dependent though.

Highlander control warrior is stronger, only ever lost to this deck on a really bad low roll (drew all my late game, no heals/armor and maybe 1 clear), or if they get specifically +4/+4 leeroy+double inner rage+bloodsworn mercenary. Hard to beat a 31 damage combo, even if you survive you likely can't heal enough, but this deck doesn't get that combo off very often. Highlander control also beats rez priest, face hunter and is slightly favored against galakrond shaman (less so against the quest version, but still winnable)

It's not a 3 mana 9/6, it's a hybrid of a 9/2 and a 3/6. It trades evenly with a 2/7, for example, while a true 9/6 would leave you with a 9/4.
