Why is Sunrise Phoenix's effect a battlecry? I assume it's to contrast with the Sunset Phoenix, but the whole point of the phoenix myth is that they're reborn when they die. You shouldn't be able to play both the Sunrise and Sunset Phoenix at the same time on turn 2. Balance issues aside, they should both be deathrattles.

After the review, I would've done it like this: Make it a 6/4, that gets +6 attack if they're holding a dragon but he'd be forced to attack that dragon once they've entered play. This way it'd trade 1 for 1 with most dragons and have a more uncontrollable nature to it so you couldn't use its body to attack other things for value.

Dr Boom: While I agree that it's OP, comparison to sprint is bad. It's more like two omega assembly. So two mana, 2 card. Which in turn is 2-3 mana itself, which means a battlecry value of 4-5 mana. 7 mana 5/2 might be reasonable, in that case. 7 and 5+2 for 7s.

Perhaps Bouncing Blade followed by boom, followed by Bouncing, followed by boom. It's pretty guarenteed the second bouncing will hit the boom bot, but it might do a few damage beforehand, and then the first bot exploding will deal more, and you're going to be left with one afterwards so it's a little sticky. I like it.

I mean in any game vanilla stats are supposed to be equal to mana cost for each stat. Like a 5 mana 5/5 or a 7 mana 7/7. [or 5 mana 0/10 also works] With any higher stats needing a downside to balance it. And any positive effects needing an activation cost or a decrease to the base stats of the card. (Or a detrimental effect of a similar power level)

This might need clarification from the creator, but I think that Dr.Boom Genius of EVIL's omega effect is that it gives you two cards not three. It's definitely a pretty big wording issue though since I can completely understand how you got to the conclusion that you did.

It’s a box of random explosives so I can see the arcane missiles as fireworks. Trump the point of the gruul design is that it's playable as a 666 rush, the chance to rip a random dragon and get swole is conditional upside, not the meat of the card, though it could be run as a pure combo hoser, the design is cleverly not as swingy as you seem to take it in that the baseline isnt horrid

With *Totem Pole* you have to also consider the other cards that can summon basic totems, some randomly, some you can select, some which can summon several totems, as well as hero-power upgrading effects like odd/even shaman. They're normally not that great, but if you can get enough of the right ones it could be significant. Some may have rotated out, but I'd assume this would most likely be released in a set that had SOME sort of synergy. I know assuming you have synergy cards for purposes of review is sort of ridiculous, but considering how a card would be in a set that actually fit the mechanical theme might be interesting.

Totem Pole could legitimately be pretty good with Shudderwock. Because like Trump said, it can be a better Malygos. Use Electra to double a lightning bolt, meaning you need +12 Spell Damage to kill them. HOWEVER!!... Dopplegangster means you need to only summon 4 Spell Damage Totems to win. But that isn't reliable, so use things like Tuskaar Fisherman, Ancient Mage, etc. to buff minions on board as well.

While I kinda get his rating, saying Boom's Scheme (15:40) should be 10 mana for 7 boom bots after Blastmaster Boom was printed looks really funny. I think Trump seriously underrated how big of a deal waiting for 10 turns would be (also he said wait 6 turns? Idk how he got that). IMO 6 mana seems about right as it still prevents brawl and is infinitely worse of a topdeck, though I could see this being in the same set as BMBoom could mean way too many bombs.

The joke is that the paladin is applying to BECOME a bad guy, so he's using twinspell (the good guy mechanic) to sign up for the bad guys team by empowering lackeys (the bad guy mechanic). It's actually a pretty clever design imo.

I think gruul the dragon slayer should have a bit different text. Some of the dragons can’t be killed at that range so possibly making it 8 mana 6/8, same idea that it pulls a dragon out of your opponents hand, but the battle cry instead gives +6 attack for this turn only and possibly immune? Yes ,thats how Dirty Rat did it ,to keep consistency it should be. Also if the dragon would be "played" it would trigger it's Battlecry and on your own turn (which Battlecry is not supposed to ever trigger on). Deathwing would just kill everything ,Crowdroaster might just snipe Gruul (depending on ,in which order ,what would trigger) and other stuff would be just as broken Edit: There might also be precendent that it could possibly be "Your opponent puts the dragon from their hand into the battlefield" ,which is how Deathlord worded it ,but that was with "From their deck" so not a strong case ,but a case nontheless

Boom's scheme would be unplayable at ten because if you got full value out of it, your opponent would probably just kill you because you had an empty board at 10 mana for 1 turn and blew a turn pulling out 7/7 stats that don't help you survive in any way

I'm suprised you cosidered the Sunrise/Sunset Phoenix so OP. We had the "Deathrattle: If it's your opponents turn, ..."-mechanic in The Grand Turnament and it was pretty bad; you just put up a strong enough taunt and all the value of the deathrattle was gone. I think getting a Sunrise Phoenix from the deathrattle would be the exeption instead of the norm making this a 1 mana 1/1 that gives you a 1 mana 2/1 which is pretty weak.
