That druid using the innervate to get the shredder out early was a horrible play considering he didn't have a follow up... should have innervated on 3 to get out a 5, then play shredder on 4.... planning ahead is key when ramping.

It always felt like a strong opening move because it's been played against me where I have no answers and it does lots of damage before I can get minions out to kill it. Expecting something decent from the rng 2 drop is usually being too optimistic for me, as it was in this guy's case.

beayn it is great if you have a 2 or 3 drop. Like sure i'll get shredder out on turn 1 if i have a darnassus aspirant in my hand. But playing shredder on turn 1 and doing nothing for the next 3 turns isn't ideal... especially if you have a 4 or 5 also. If you have two shredders, innervate one on 2, coin the other on 3. Druid is about constantly putting out threats and having tempo, unless of course you're playing the heavy ramp version with no force/savage and ancient watchers.

Seriously though, Priest lightbomb is OP, Can't play anything and then they just heal and win the game. In all honesty now though, Druid is soooo strong. Just board control early then drop lots of big stuff late game that kills my board, No counter. Don't even get me started on paladin, Can't play anything otherwise i lose to Equality + Consecrate combo... and warlock oh my god, Twisting nether is sooo broken.... I could go on.

+Noe Gutierrez So blizzard created a different form of OTK warrior deck when they supposedly support moving away from OTK decks. Absolute nonsense. It has a crazy amount of card draw and they barely care about what you put onto the board. It may be more difficult than Miracle Rogue, but it has no more value.

Jesse Colquhoun Flamestrike is arguably not as good per mana spent, ice block is irrelevant. Op combo damage from rogue is not a board clear. Lightbomb is similar, but much easier to play around, and you don't have to limit how many minions are on the board. Druid is nowhere near as effective at early board control as Warrior. Equality + Consecrate 6 mana combo that costs two cards and you want to compare that to a 5 mana cost with only ONE card. Twisting nether is similar, but you pay an extra 3 mana to make sure no minion lives, not even your own. It isn't even used anywhere close to Brawl. I see what you were trying to say, but your arguments fall flat under the smallest of scrutiny.

It wasn't really an argument. It was pointing out that each class has "OP" cards (Maybe not twisting nether). Its only OP when you get shrekd by it. You just have to play around things. Don't overextend into a brawl, lightbomb or flamestrike.. Of course there are some cases that you HAVE to overextend otherwise you get lethal'd and then they'd still need to have it in their hand to punish you for overextending. But i bet there are tons of games where brawl doesnt work out, or flamestrike doesn't clear and you simply lose because of it.

+Bindair Dundat Can't compare an individual card to a combo, as combos are meant to be far stronger by default. Grom / Taskmaster or Death's Bite / Grom are much more apt comparisons.

+Bindair Dundat What are you talking about? Grom is 8 mana and Taskmaster is 2. That's 10 mana total, which is by no means unplayable - especially as a finisher. That specific combo has been Control Warrior's main win condition even before Naxx was released, let alone BRM and Thaurissan. As for how Grom + Taskmaster compares to Force + Roar, the Grom combo is slightly weaker from an empty board and far weaker with board presence, but uses cards that are much more flexible on their own than Force of Nature or Savage Roar. Force and Roar are only really good when played together, especially Force. On the other hand, Grom and Task can be combo'd with a lot of other cards as well as provide good value on their own (Task wrecks early game aggro, and Grom's stats combined with Charge makes him essentially a North Sea Kraken with more potential). Not saying Force Roar isn't crazy good and possibly broken, just though I'd throw in a quick comparison for the sake of discussion. :)

kyat579 I thought Grom was 9 mana. I remembered always using Inner Rage on him. Meh... But still, 2 cards for 10 Mana for 12 damage is a lot weaker than 2 cards for 9 mana for 14 damage. And Innervate can even amplify the Druid combo with another Savage Roar. Fortunately, that is rare, beside being devastating. Still a totally disgusting combo.

16:50 MISTAKE! First hit face for 8 (15-8 = 7) Then death, if any one of the 2 first flamewaker shots go face, you have lethal (provided the flamewaker survives until the end). (7 -[1 or -2] = [5 or 6]) for 3 mana. Follow it up with Pain, if 2 bots were there, 1 shot hits the other bot and the other shot hits face, otherwise both shots hit face ([5 or 6] - [1 or 2] = 4) for 2 mana. If both shots miss the boombot, then all the better. Finish it with a Holy Nova, clear board means the 2 shots go face for 4 damage lethal. Note: The only outcome which fails is if the boom bots blow up the flamewaker... in which case you can easily lethal on the following turn in stead, since you took him down to 4 and have 2 ways to deal 2 damage in hand. It's a very unlikely outcome anyways - about 4%, I believe, for both bombs to hit the flamewaker for enough to kill him. tl:dr: hit face -> death -> pain -> circle was lethal and only had about a 4% chance to fail.

+TheoreticallyInsane Have you managed to have ANY success with shadowboxer? I have tried, and tried, and tried again, but as a 2 drop he is simply not good enuogh. I mean... he is a 2 / 3 for 2, that is not bad, but the effect never triggers if you play him on 2 (you don't want to use your power on 3, the turn when you start turning the tables) I find Gilbin to be more useful for that spot, since he has the same stats, but the added effect that stealth has is that it is you who can decide the trades (so you can eventually heal him, which is a huge bonus in priest) AND he can not be removed, so you can buff him at will. I have yet to try flame juggler. But I feel like the times when he is going to be good (vs super-aggro, with 1 health minions), priest is already super good, so... meh, no need to have a tech card, if your whole class already fills that role, right? Also lately I feel like if you have enough 3 and 4, and with zombie chow, it is not as bad to skip turn 2. Although that requires a different play style... you pretty much go very low, and then you climb back, destroy the board of your oponent, and kill him with medium warden and late game bombs.

And if you play shadowboxer as a 2 drop, like they were saying, then you want to have the effect trigger as soon as possible, because he is not going to last much. You could play him in the late game with circle, or any other heal, but... you are never super happy to play a 2 cost minion in turn 10. Much better to play Holy champion instead, for example. As I said, I am not impressed with that little robot. 90% of the time, he is just a crocolisk, with no added bonus.
