I live in Western Germany and even though it hasn't been the coldest winter I have ever seen it still has been the worst and most devastating. I never had so much damage on palms and exotic plants. Even on some natives. Might have been the extreme temperature fluctuations from deep frost to winter heat wave jumping up and down several times. Plus a lot of wetness...

Unfortunately they did not survive :( The only one that survived was the one that was in more sunlight.....the other 3 are dead at 11F

Washingtonia are short term in Atlanta. Better off with Sabals and Windmills for long term.

Growth point of the trunk cut washie is brown. Doesnt look good.
