Many Climate-Smart Commodity grant programs are becoming available in 2024, giving producers across the USA opportunities to be compensated for adopting regenerative practices.
In this video series, we hope to highlight a few of the available programs to help you determine which programs might be a good fit for your operation.
Join Keith Berns and Andy Lyon as they discuss the Trust in Food Initiative from Farm Journal. This program is available to producers in 19 states in the upper midwest, and southeast United States (AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, SC, SD, TN).
The Trust in Food Initiative offers stackable assistance with practices such as multi-species cover crop, nutrient management practices, enhanced efficiency fertilizer, soil amendments such as biologicals and biochar, temporary livestock fencing, virtual fencing, prairie and wetland management and more.
