It's not from a released movie or show it is from a KZbin channel that worked on a project based on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but it sadly got cancelled.

@@Syncenator I just watched some chapters of My little pony since you pointed it as the origin of the project and I'm more than sad it was canceled... Some of the best discovers I've ever made, that show is down right awesome. This project, I guess about Celestia and Luna when young, (for some reason) in different fur color and wingless... I think it would have been a great story to watch

when he says "its reason to think twice" shouldnt the german of "its" be es ist, not ist ein? sorry, im still a beginner in german. but "es ist" is "it is" and "its", is another way of saying "it is". so despite it being "its" the german translation should still be "es ist". if this is wrong, plz correct me. im still a beginner so this is probably wrong. but id like to understand why its "ist ein" instead of "es ist"

I'm very sorry for the super late reply! You are right "it's" means "es ist" and the other "its" means something slighty different but in German used with similar words. But the thing is that I can't say "es ist Grund zweimal drüber nachzudenken" because it would be wrong. It has to be "es ist ein Grund..." but that also doesn't fit here because of what he says before and for the sentence in general. Therefore to make it fit you have to slightly change it to "ist ein Grund..." by removing the "es", which is not really needed here, since it is quite obvious and kinda inside the "ist" for native speakers, if you understand what I mean by that. If you want more training you should check out Wheeljack2k on KZbin and enable the KZbin subtitles and choose the retranslations. Then you can listen to the German songs and read the English translations, which are really good and mostly exactly like what they say in German, so you can learn stuff. You can also come visit my main KZbin channel called MLPSongsGer, where I upload translations of the songs of the series. They are not exactly 1:1 because most people want lyrics they can sing to and therefore I have to find something in between, if it doesn't sound or fit well.
