Trust your Heart - An animated talk by Charles Eisenstein

This video shows and speaks of the idea that trusting 'what makes you come alive' is a valid source of information on how to spend your time. I find it very helpful to remind myself of this every day and follow and trust the longings of the heart.
As Charles says: we don't know how to get to a more beautiful world, but we know it exists.

I am going through this right now. I have given my life to my kids and there Father. I gave up my dance career to raise our children. I have awaken and done much inner work during this time. He just walked out in us and now I have no idea what to do to support us. I make crystal jewelry, I make homemade soaps and work with essential oil blends. People call me when they are going through crisis because of my intuitive nature in healing through words and service. This does not pay the bills. I have no idea what to do. I feel like all I have learned has no influence on me at this time. I feel numb. Ty for this video, I hope it sparks something for me 💖

I love riding waves. Surfing a longboard. Once the ride finishes there is nothing to show for it apart from a raised heart rate, a faint memory of what happened and some kind of special feeling from dancing with that energy. It doesn't seem useful or productive to me but it is something that I love to do.

Seems so simple. Just sometimes need the reminder. I do miss the connection to "art" & "creativity" that I had when I was young, life so busy now. I feel like life is so much responsibilities, but I also know I am following my heart on a daily basis. Amazing how calm this made me feel. I can go to sleep now.

I feel alive around the fire pit, not happened in 35 years as a functional part of life. Life without fire is dead. Fire is held within the centre the heart and beauty. Real live fire has been a part of humanity until the past couple generations bringing it to elemental disharmony. Gardening makes me feel alive. I live in an apartment surrounded by cement driveways, super depressing. May we find the gardens again.

Exactly how I feel. I asked my guides everyday to tell me what should I do next? Am I going in the right path or am I lost? Am I making the right decision or I got blinded? this feel like it was meant for me the art was my love since the age of 2 ...i always had a sketchbook and colouring pencils with me until i went to school and teachers suffocated in me that ... especially art teachers. I lived in war i haven't had good surname i was heavily mistreated. I am 42 now went to art university experienced even uglier things. And I was left with what is the point? I feel inexpressible i feel i have ideas coming to go out but something is blocking them
