Olight has a lifetime warranty on built in batteries 😊

Thx, I didn't know that - however, I wonder if that's limited (e.g. normal wear and tear not eligible) or if that is regardless of aging? Might have to pick up an Arkfeld if it's the latter. :)

they're kinda neat, but the built in battery turns all of those lights into disposable junk gadgets, that will die with the built in battery after 2-3 years at best.

Sadly, that's how manufacturers are with most electronics but thankfully EU's new law re: replaceable batteries (albeit in smart phones and tablets) should help set a precedent in the right direction. As for these lights, I'm going to be doing a tear down to see how easily (or not) the battery can be displaced.

EDIT: precedent isn't really correct since there were many battery-powered devices that previously had user-replaceable batteries, so I should say it's a step back in the right direction.

@TekyTimbo I have a small little hybrid Keychain light. It takes an AAA and it also has a built in lithium and it's nice. You can also use 10440 batteries.

@TekyTimbo RovyVon Angel Eyes E3 they make a bunch of different models. Some have two different led's in them some have lights on the body. They are neat lights though some are a little expensive mine wasnt too bad. No crappy micro usb charger port either like a lot of lights still. Its USB C thankfully.
