Sometimes I start to believe that God doesn’t give all people the desires of their heart, because when you want something so badly and it doesn’t happen I start to think what’s wrong with me why am I not good enough for God? Why does everybody get the desires of their heart but me. I’ve been praying the same prayer for over 15 years and I’m still waiting. I’m a good Christian woman, loyal, Funny, hard-working and have a desire for God. Yet I’m 37 years old and still unmarried with no children, I’m so tired of crying and wondering why God won’t give me the desires of my heart when I seek him.

One of the main things I pray and ask God is that he fills my heart with joy in him and find satisfaction in him and not the things of the world. This is my deepest desire. I fall plenty of times but I always pick myself up and start again

Love what the Holy Spirit is doing through you.💙 Im a subscriber and I agree 100% I've found my life to be more fulfilled since I'm in Christ God called me from the grave stirring my heart about 2 years and about a year ago did something about it! Found a Christian church did the initial life classes and gift tests and was baptized. Ever since I've been involved in womens bible groups around town as well as a Kingdom Life study at my church. God has removed my old spirit and placed a new spirit within me. He has placed so much of His joy and peace upon me I've found the eternal living waters that never let's me thirst for anything more than His truths and Will. Realizing who I am in Christ and who God is has been such a delightful journey and it's only the beginning! The attack of the enemy has formed against me but did not prevail, it was a humbling experience and changed me for the better. For God's glory! Jehovah Rapha has made me whole and complete that I dont look to anyone for anything not even acceptance or misplaced hope because my identity is in Christ not in my relationship, not in my past, or things. My self image is an increased better version of myself that will never stop developing til the day of Christ is revealed. The song lyric that comes to mind and I feel in my heart "The King of Heaven wants me so this 🌏 has lost its grip on me".

A lot of Christians say god doesn’t give us our desires god gives us his desire When we seek him and I sometimes I’m like so it’s basically like god brain washing us to do what he wants which we in our hearts don’t wanna do. My desires are not like asking god to give me a big house fancy car or make me rich but things that personaly make me happy like playing basketball or going for a run or summer job that made me happy I don’t desire things like I have something that others don’t and I’m better then them nothing sinful like that. I wanna believe that god gives the desires of our hearts that I know will like and make me happy if course I don’t expect everything to be perfect but most we don’t get what we want we Get what god wants and seems like god trapping us in a box keeping from doing what we personaly want to do and forced to do what god wants, I like your video but I just hear different from Christian sources.

I firmly believe a person who has nothing but trust in God can fullfil his desires and also I know that trusting God with pure heart is a very long a tough process. But then I see some people have everything already in their lives which a person dreams of. How come without passing through that same process they got almost everything they wanted?

That's why the Bible says we should not be envious of others who prosper in there way because believe me their time is coming. Nothing last forever. Dont look at them and be discouraged. if you are going through something because of where you should be, be happy my friend. If I didn't go through anything when my faith is tested I would be worried to be wondering if this is actually the right thing for me. The will of God always comes with persecution and struggles.

This was an excellent video for me , tho i am little bit confused. I was never this confused about what God wants me to do in my life . I can't walk ( i was in accident when i was 9) and i feel like every thing i wanted God took away from me, but didn't give me enough joy. I am in my late teens now and everything seems like it is falling apart. I have disfuncional family and really not pretty look on future because of that. I love my family but i am afraid of future now that i am soon going to be an adult. Also i am not that close to God as i once was. I want to trust him but i can't. Once i belived that God would give me happier future and now when years passed i feel like he didn't want me to have it. Now i have this great desire to meet my soulmate and later have a family on my own but i don't know if that is what God wants. He said to first seek him but i don't want to spend my life single. I don't know how to explain this, but the only way i think i will trust God is truly love, is if he gives me a soulmate so i don't have to be alone all of my life. As i never wanted much from God in the past eventho i could have, this is the only thing i ask of him. I still pray and go to Church when i physicaly can, but i am confused. I hope this made sense. Is there anyone who is going thru the same thing?

Hey girl how are you?! I read this and felt like I had to respond I definitely understand the emotional part of what you are saying. I am a single mother of two children. I did not bargain that I would be by myself raising children. I have seen God bless me in so many other ways in my life but I have yet to be married or even in a relationship. What I'm realizing is that everytime I try to force what I want on God it never works. It's funny because being in a relationship is the one thing I have desired the most since I was young and it's the one thing God is withholding from me or allowing me not to have. And I believe it is because there are times in my life where I put that idea of relationship or marriage before him. So what I do is I watch inspirational KZbin videos like this woman is doing. I downloaded an app called Daughters of the king devotional it's a purple app and I immerse myself with friends and people from my fellowship so that I won't get so discouraged. When it comes to the affection part which is something I struggle with a lot, God will use my son to give me plenty of hugs and kisses and also my friends to give me hugs and the affection that I need. Pray that God will help you to understand how much he is enough for you. I can only imagine that in understanding this, we both will find the happiness that we desire. I believe he wants us to be married no matter what our current situation. If we have that desire it must be something that he wants for us we just won't get it the way we want. I hope this helps. And if you take nothing away from all that I've said know that there's someone in the world that feels the same way you do. But you are worthy and loved and girl keep your head up so your crown don't slip off!!!!!

I realised i still don't know for sure what He wants me to do, but i don't really want anything anymore. If it makes sense. I am just looking forward to see what He will give me. I think my time of unhappiness is about to come to an end. Whatever He gives me will be good. I also watch more inspirational videos to keep my faith stronger! venomusdrake 288 and also remember if you have a strong desire that doesn’t harm you or anyone else and you’re asking God for His will in your life, that strong desire is most likely coming from God. At one point I thought I would never find love again, but once I focused on bettering myself, healing myself and deepening my relationship with God-I found love again! Not saying this is the case for you, but sometimes we need to heal from past pains before God will allow us to meet our life partner. The common thought is we need someone to complete us but actually we need to be complete ourselves before meeting someone and sharing life with them.

So sorry for your loss. God does give you the desire of your heart but he also knows what's best for us. Situations that we are faced with gives us the opportunity to trust God more and even tho it hurts so bad, you know your weeping will be turned into Joy. Look at Job who lost everything including his entire family but he never gave up. He still trusted God and God restored. I won't tell you that it is easy because it is very hard but I pray you will find strength in this time to trust God that he will give you joy in your pain. Don't give up on God because he sees you and knows what you are going through. He is there for you.
