Trusting Jesus (Weekly Hymn Project)

Today's hymn is "Trusting Jesus".
I was thinking once again of the dear friend with cancer that I'd mentioned in last Sunday's live stream and the line "Singing if my way is clear,
Praying if the path be drear;" really struck me. Maybe a lot of the times we'd just like things to be clear; but life is a bit of everything and that's what this hymn and so many remind us of. We don't know it all and it's not about figuring it all out, but trusting Him as being enough for all circumstances. "He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6

My Daddy passed away last week and when he was is coma in ICU at hospital, as I keep on praying for my Daddy three days ahead before he passed away I had a dream singing this song!! This song speaks to me, whatever befall wherever struggles and difficulties we face in life we should trust Jesus Christ only. 🙏

Well, in my hymnal that I played it from, it's originally in the key of G; but I didn't want to do the hymns for this project in the original keys, as they are generally higher than most average people can sing, so I transpose them with my piano and this song went down to Eb.
