Xemnas'a ethereal blades might look like lightsabers, but they don't cut and are very blunt like clubs. Regular beams of energy can be bounced back. The Command Style Blade Charge exists. It costs a Keyblade in a sheath of light. Regular blades bounce off. Keyblades do not cut. Only bash. Can make paths faster than cutting with a lightsaber Can reappear in the weidler's hand equally fast as a force user.

I think it will be close match. Mickey is unlikely to use big spell like that only as last resort. So I think it will be matter of Yoda endurance. He over rally on the force for physical and force attack. While the force is much greater source of power than magic. He is very old and can only endure that much strain in his body before it kill him. So that is the one way I can see Yoda losing. Since he has greater experience and greater larger pool of power but he prefer quick fights and retreat than fight to the death. Since he already has no qualm with killing the rule of deathbattle shouldn't change that. So for Mickey to win he need to force Yoda to overstend his use of the force before he run out of magic. Which should be easier on Mickey since despite being mage equivalent of keyblade wielder and having large mana pool he rarely use it offensively unless given no choice. Magic and force attack counter each other almost perfectly. Shell negate most generic force attack. Those big feat of force power are another matter but as stated is that over use of the force that can grant Yoda the win or get him killed in equal measure.

@@Notmyday2009 True. But Kingdom hearts characters are surprisingly powerful, even without magic, so I don't think it will be as close as one might think. Think back to Sora vs. Pit. Sora's magic was pretty much moot thanks to the sheer number of weapons Pit had, not to mention Pit's experience. But that didn't exactly matter when base-form Sora had feats of strength, speed, and durability that were just insane. Like being able to tank hits from Hercules, or deflecting thousands of lasers from nearly every direction all at once. And, redirecting back to Yoda vs. Mickey a bit, I think Mickey could at least be on par with Sora in skill and feats, if he doesn't already surpass him. Even with Death Battle's new way of analyzing the Force and it's capabilities, it'll still be difficult for Yoda to get past Mickey's speed and strength, especially if Mickey DOES scale to Sora. In conclusion, I'd definitely prefer it if Yoda were to win, but because Kingdom hearts is surprisingly strong, I think Mickey's got this one in the bag. Frankly though, I definitely prefer the Kingdom Hearts rendition of Mickey over all other renditions, so I think it'll still be good.

Kingdom Hearts Mickey is on a different level than Yoda. He can stop time, slow an enemy down permanently, instantly heal all damage, reflect all damage back at an enemy, manipulate all of the elements at will on a massive scale, literally separate your heart from your body in an instant, seal/unseal the door between light and darkness, dive into your dreams and attack you, open and close portals between realms instantaneously, has an indestructible blade which can be disintegrated and re-materialized at will, has enough faith in light to survive long periods of time in the realm of darkness, and can give life to and control inanimate objects and make them do anything he pleases. Yoda has limited telekinesis, vague visions of the future, and a (destructible) lightsaber + some fighting skills. He can’t use any form of magic outside of his force abilities and while force healing has been done by Grogu (very slowly), Yoda has never actually done it himself and it would be incredibly exhausting for him. Yoda has spent his life staying away from the dark side as much as possible, whereas Mickey has totally conquered darkness at its source in the realm of darkness. Yoda may try to represent the light side, but Mickey can actually USE light energy for magic spells. Yoda retired and ran away after the dark side took over his council, Mickey has never faltered or folded under the pressure of darkness. On top of that, Yoda’s force gets used up far quicker than Mickey’s MP, and Mickey has about 20x more uses for his MP than Yoda has for the force. Not to mention, the force is literally life force so if you use too much you simply die. MP has to occasionally recharge, which doesn’t take long to fully recharge and can be done several times per battle if necessary. During MP recharge, Mickey is also capable of using potions to INSTANTLY heal damage and ethers to INSTANTLY recharge MP. Mickey also has more munny and if we’re talking rights, Mickey literally owns Yoda. If Yoda wins despite these facts, you’re just a lying fanboy.

@@scotttrail522 I agree with you a bit. But they won't include some Mickey's feats outside of the Kingdom Hearts games (like the cartoons and some of his animations which aren't related to the Kingdom Hearts series, for example) . His Toonforce also won't be included in this fight, obviusly.

Clone troopers were created and trained for the sake of filling in the numbers required for an army to exist, but thanks to the compassion of Yoda and other Jedi they were able to develop distinct and unique personalities. Every clone was treasured by the Jedi and when one fell it didn't just hurt their numbers, it hurt their newly founded brotherhood.

The one thing Mickey would have over him, Yoda’s crippling arthritis. I mean, he’s 900 years old, even for a species that’s supposed to be long-lived, that’s pushing it. His disability leads him to have to use a cane to walk around, or a hover chair whenever possible. The reason he’s able to not need them in combat, is he relies very heavily on the Force to augment his physical capability, allowing him to work through the pain. But this level of reliance is dangerous, and can’t be sustained very long, which is exactly what Ataru is all about; overwhelming your opponent to defeat them as quickly as possible.
