I use ipad pro 11 2018, and it’s the best choice ever for pubgm, although it supports 90 fps, and it gives you the ability to actually notice the difference between 90fps and 60fps, yet it’s not worth it, as it consumes a lot of power and drains your battery almost 30% faster than the smooth+extreme option. I myself play smooth + extreme even after the latest update, it’s much better and keeps your device noticeably cooler and it gives you more “professional” experience, especially for large gaming sessions ..

The mini 5 is a solid machine, literally a mini version of the iPad 8 with slight improvements like Bluetooth 5. But it’s getting old and will likely be replaced so I’d only get one if you really have a use case for it and can get a nice discount on it. Otherwise the iPad 8 remains the best value at a great price point.

Thanks, yes, you're right, it does not support 90fps. I have a feeling they'll remove that option in the future.

Nope, no other ipad can support 90fps except the Pros. But I wouldn’t play at 90fps, the Smooth setting looks terrible, like a game out of the 90’s. As long as the machine can play rock solid 60fps at Balanced setting, it will be a great experience (which the ipad 8 can do). So even with my iPad Pro, I play at 60fps (Balanced + Extreme).

@@adonis110 both are same but 8th gen has bigger screen otherwise both are identical.. Mini has some features like true tone and laminated display.. But in my opinion 8th gen would be a better choice

Yes, Bal+Extreme is better because they’re both 60fps but one has much better details and shadows.
