Undoubtedly a great Dr. The World Drs are recommending to have By pass Surgery or placement of Cardiac stent to prevent MI. But Dr. HEGDE is prefering to have natural colaterals. Those would develope but not less than a 6 months period. Meanwhile big ir-reversible damage will take place in the Heart Organ. Please comment

I accept the collateral circulation can develop, even without what your technique. I agree cholesterol is not the problem ie Total cholesterol and LDL, and statins not the answer except in FH. His concept of collateral circulation is very much true. I am now 70 plus; and about ten years back, I had an angiogram done. The angio showed that my RCA had not developed at all. It was just floating, as a creeper half grown. The doctor advised not to disturb it and said it was a defect at birth and collateral circulation had taken care all these years and did not disturb it. Some preventive medicines were prescribed which I continue to take.
