Jesus is speaking of his second coming in Matthew 24, not of a pre tribulation rapture. Only in Paul’s 13 epistles can the pre tribulation rapture be found. Paul was given this mystery kept hidden in God since before the world began. This man in sermon is not a prophet, as we are in an age of mystery and there is not more prophecy - only what is prophesied in Gods finished word

Great teacher and I love him BUT no one is versed in everything. I believe in the rapture, the bible clearly indicates such. I am not fearful, not trying to escape....i just believe the scripture....it is called the blessed hope and we are told to comfort each other with it. The bible says in the last days evil men will wax worse and worse. Jesus predicted the utter destruction of Jerusalem, should someone have quoted Jeremiah 29 to Jesus about God's good plans ? Which prophecy would stand. My point is we prepare ourselves also by prophecy. Do you think motivational speeches would have stopped the rise of Hitler? God never gives one man all insight, thus we must hear all the prophets and the Spirit will give wisdom.

There is no such thing as a rapture. If there were, it would be clearly stated in Mark 13, Revelation, and Matthew 24 where God tells us how the end times will happen and there is no mention of any rapture. In fact, the Rapture is refuted in Isaiah 52:12 and Ezekiel 13:20.
