Problem with Republicans is that you can never admit how brilliant your opposition might be, which works to your detriment because you treat them as though they’re not smart and they are. Willy Brown was in the state legislature for 30 years and he SPEAKER OF THE STATE ASSEMBLY for 15 years. That is longer than anyone is held that office in the history of the California state legislature. When he started in politics, Republicans and Democrats had relationships, even though they pursued their own brand of politics. Brown had lots of Republican friends. He neither dressed flashy or was a flashy person.. he dated mostly white women, young white women. Nobody mentions that.. Republicans leave that reality out. Harris was the only black woman anybody has ever seen Willie Brown dating other than his wife. That relationship ship lasted two years and was totally public. Willie Brown was legally separated from his wife 12 years before he met Kamala Harris.. 10 of those years he spent with his girlfriend Wendy, who was White. San Francisco is a very diversity and nobody gave a damn who you dated. His relationship with either of those women was not him having an affair with them.. they were dating as most people date and it was very public. But I am telling you that there was no affair and no hiddenanything. There was no way in San Francisco based on the politics of San Francisco that Willie Brown could have talked people into voting his girlfriend into office. That is the biggest joke going.. Harris did nothing unusual. Her family was with her at many events with Brown. They dated for two years. Everything about it was a normal relationship that ended..

Kelly, I worked with her in the 90’s. I don’t recall her cackling like she does now. She was quite arrogant, not particularly liked by fellow staff and she beat feet from that job when Willie open the door for her and got her the job on the medical board committee for the state. My personal view is that she has jumped ship to various careers without increasing her knowledge, experience and maturity in each of these endeavors. I don’t think she has ever honed her skills or knowledge, but instead opts to let others open doors for her instead of mastering the vocational skills, talents, experience and expertise she was hired for.
