Billy Beck is a musical genius! He was a godsend for the group after Junie departed. He definitely took them to another level!👍

One of the most "slept on" and underrated Funk keyboardist's in the conversation of keys masters. He's right alongside of course, Bernie Worrell (The Wizard), Razorsharp Johnson, Larry Dunn (EWF), Gregory "Funk Funk" Johnson (Cameo), Mark Bynum(Bar-Kays), Junie and Roger. Billy Beck is a real ass symphonic maestro, legendary riffs galore ("Funky Worm-live","Far East Mississippi" "What The Hell", "Fopp",etc) and he and the Players belong in the RRHOF without question. Funk ON! Mr.Beck

I wish you had asked him how they came to the agreement of them all getting songwriting credit on every song. Skintight was my first OP album . I was 14 years old. I remember noticing that right away, that they all had song writing credits on every song. I was hoping you would get into that with him, asking him, that, even though they all had credit, who came up with the famous riffs.

The song length drives me nuts, even to this day. Cheers

@@SoulOnTopJB I just asked Billy in text why it was so short and if more was left in the studio, and his answer: "The answer is yes that was only a partial of the whole take that tipper song. We picked out the best part and put it on the album."
