When I was 43 I dated a 27 year old. We were head over hills in love and it was the BEST sex I’d ever had! Still to this day. We were together for 2 years, a new job opportunity presented itself and as a woman I wasn’t going to not accept it. So I chose the job and I moved and he couldn’t leave his job at the time and he was also the primary care provider for his grandmother. We tried making it work long distance but it was exhausting. Since I was much older, I think I was more mature and able to handle the distance whereas it became hard for him. But one thing I can say that was the best two years of my life out of all of the relationships I’ve ever been in. We loved one another to the ends of the thread and we loved hard. We had so much fun together, he was able to make my heart sing in ways I never knew that it could. Although we had the best sex, we also had some of the best conversations, the best laughs, and the best of everything. And it’s so funny because I still think of him to this day and I wonder what his life is like and all I know is that the woman in his life got a good one. One thing I do miss the most is just the way he used to hold me at night. Oh man, I would give anything to feel that again. I’m divorced now, I’m 53 but I still think of him. So with that being said, I definitely understand how Kristen feels and I wish them both the best. Before I got with him all my friends knew that I was always against dating somebody who was much younger, but wow, he changed everything and at the end of the day I do think many situations and age are just a number because it’s really about how the other person makes you feel and if they make you feel seen, heard, alive and loved.

In my opinion, I don’t think it’s going to last. He will want to have his own family and kids and she has said before that the shop is closed. I think right now because she’s got all of this oxytocin floating around in her brain, she’s toying with the idea of possibly having a baby for this guy… but they don’t even live together. And I could already see here in this dynamic that she is very controlling. Wait and see if they ever move in together. The relationship will completely change. You don’t truly know somebody until you live with them. She has already said that when he’s there for two days, she feels like she has to “entertain him”. She's walking on eggshells with him, she's not "selling herself short." See her ex-husband. She's dealing with a lot of trauma, and I think this guy felt "familiar" to her, because he's controlling. Early on in a relationship, possessiveness can feel like "oh, he's really into me." Did you see him go in on her for saying, "when we hook up?" Then when she caught he was mad, she said, "I mean, when we make love," and he responded something like, "there you go..." He's so patronizing. Just hard to see amongst his blank no affect face, and microaggressions. I've never seen a dude purse their lips so much. He was low-key angry throughout this entire video (boiling just below the surface the entire time), and idk what was even edited out, but there were cuts around some of his more off color remarks. I hope she finds someone the opposite of her ex, and actually deserving of her. Someone who doesn't care about gender roles at all. Not some basic bro from Montana who wants some simple homemaker wifey.

@@Living_Dead_GirrlI think that also millennials and gen z jargon doesn’t interface well. And also sociability and sensibility…… Gen z have like no interest in anything before like instagram… whereas millennials and gen x are more connected with pre social media history, memories etc.. I know so many gen z who don’t even know how old their parents are.. it’s just weird. They don’t have a sense of humour in the same way either.. like verbal jokes are dead now or even picking up on sarcasm, irony, layered thinking… everything’s spelled out for them by AI or Chegg or whatever.. it’s like social media caused them to be underdeveloped or something. As a millennial I feel like even my generation is quite immature in many regards compared to prior generations, But gen z has cut off from history, they haven’t read a book, just googled answers their whole life… Even though laguna beach and the hills were staged, I just feel like at least they hung out and talked and socialized… everyone wasn’t looking at their phones 24/7.. Gen z doesn’t even have the social skills to make a show like laguna beach, because no one talks to each other in high schools and middle schools now… it’s like they graduate with little to no friends, don’t even develop a sense of humour, and then look for older people to reparent them and then assault them with their ageism. Kristin is still so alive!! She’s so social!! She should be with someone her age or closer who maybe never had kids or marriage before… This dude is weird..

@@Silencio1126yeah I felt uncomfortable watching this. He acted totally like a 24 yr old guy which isn’t a bad thing at all obv. Maybe it works for them because Kristen is atypically younger in mindset than 37 yrs old so they meet in the middle? I dunno-age gap relationships are puzzling to me

You could tell he was actually hurt by the tattoo comment. I think he’s really into Kristin. They definitely have some things to work out though with thoughts of the future. Kristin definitely fears getting older and having more kids and he does want kids. I think Kristin may have joined with such a younger guy because of this fear of age thing and wanting to go back in time and relive her younger years. Hope they can align their goals and values. It’s not going to last. She’s way ahead of him in regard to life experiences, kids, marriage, divorce, business and finance. Resentment and regret are sure to follow. If she’d take her time, stop partying like a catholic school-sorority girl, stop being thirsty -she could easily attract the right type of men more suitable for her. But this doesn’t make either of them bad people.
