Is it bad that I’m pleasantly surprised that you guys have drank? It makes me happy to see people making decisions for themselves as they grow up (not just blindly following the church) and deciding what they do and don’t want to do/ what their relationship with god is dictated by. Even if it’s not something you’ll do again or regularly I’m kind of a proud viewer lol

You can decide not to drink and that doesn't mean you are blindly following the church. A lot of people choose not to drink for many reasons other than religion.

@@hannaandersson4476 i know that, I'm also mormon. Her comment makes it seem like anyone who is part of the church and doesn't drink is only doing so because they "blindly follow the church". Which you could say about a lot of things, and I would agree, but in this instance there's a lot of good reasons not to drink that it doesn't makes sense to do so even if you want to make your own choices. (My dad being an alcoholic as one). I know she doesn't have to disclaim that, but I wanted to.

Is anyone else curious about where everyone is religiously? Because they are or were members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but they don’t seem to follow most of the same standards so I’m a little confused.

They've changed massively. Both Shaun and Mindy went to BYU, and both were missionaries. Even as of 10 years ago, Mindy didn't wear makeup massively, didn't watch graphic tv shows like GoT, and they still visited the LDS temple. But in the last decade, everyone with the exception of Shaun has abandoned their old views and beliefs.

Asa’s family isn’t apart of LDS, he’s christian. Bailey tried a bit of wine at Sadie Robertsons wedding and didn’t like it. Probably, Bailey tried something different and didn’t know it had alcohol in it.

Asa’s family probably drinks alcohol. So in ways, if Bailey is at his family’s house , she probably had some or on vacation and didn’t know at first. She mentioned that his cousin Sadie Robertson’s wedding , she tried a bit of wine and didn’t like it and Brooklyn had some alcohol and didn’t since it was a drink that was mixed and didn’t like it. I have a feeling Asa drinks a little bit at special occasional when he’s around his family and not around Mindy and Shaun. In ways I would say the family not likely Shaun, is sorta branching off from being in the LDS religion in ways.
