Y’all don’t gotta go off. They’re from different parts of the world where things work differently. Yes BTS along with many other kpop artists train for years before their debut and even after debuting. Bts has been around for yearssssss and finally got the chance to perform BECAUSE of the many US fans and yes along with Asian fans as they are also HUGE in Asia. Yes Selena hasn’t trained extensively as much as BTS so of course it will be harder for her to sing and dance and that’s totally fine because as I said things are done differently in the western music industry compared to the Korean music industry. Because bts has had the training to be able to sing and dance they can do as the same time. They also play their music in the background for the same reasons western artists do. And I personally do not think they lip sync as many of their live performances have proven so. Me, personally, I love bts and Selena for their own uniqueness. I don’t compare because the situations of how they each made it and their music is totally different. If it was the same neither of them would be special now would they. Not to mention Selena also acts and she can dance pretty good as well. Also there is a clip of bts dancing and loving Selena’s performance, y’all should watch that. I’ve been following both bts and Selena for years and known their situations and been able to appreciate them both. BTS is influenced by many western artists as well. Alesia was running out of breath throughout most of her performance, and Demi messed up the yelling “yeahhh” note of her song. Live singing is what Christina, Diana Ross, Pink, and Kelly Clarkson were doing. I couldn’t help but notice that throughout the night, how various of the new generation singers have absolutely no control of their breath when singing. They run out of air so quickly and tire their voices rapidly. I respect Selena. But she’s never been a great singer. She’s simply okay. Nothing amazing, nothing to die for. She lip syncs a lot, and has a lot of auto tune. I have probably only seen two great live performances from Selena Gomez; one of them was at the AMA’s the heart wants what it wants.
