I could listen to the 490Pro against LCD-X, Focal Clear MG and Hifiman HE1000SE and I would have chosen the 490Pro. It sound very natural to me. Mind you, I already have an Arya Stealth, so my choice is based on what headphone would compliment them the most. I would probably still get a HD600/650 to differentiate more, but as a one headphone to do it all, the 490Pro seems to be a great choice.

At 39 minutes when you talk about the 560s and how it compares with the 490 pro… question: Have you tried the newer 560s with the minijack/1/4 in adapter basically 2023 model and up? It sounds less strange than my old 560. It’s the best value senn now IMO

I don't understand why people ignore the Beyerdynamic TYGR 300 R when talking about headphones for gaming that have good soundstage and imaging, they mention other headphones ever more expensive ones from the same brand and ignore them. It's even weirder when you consider that the TYGR was mostly positively reviewed at the time of release, do people ignore them just because they can't take the silly name seriously?

Instead of detracting from the hobby I'd say assuming EQ would leave more room to discuss meaningful topics instead of irrelevant individual anatomy etc personal effects.
