Truthear's Budget Banger Set of IEM's: GATE. Under $20 is Incredible for these!

I've gotta say, first impressions of the #Truthear #GATE are absolutely positive. They have a really crispy, paper-like texture to the mids and trebles that are so much fun to listen to. They won't blow you away with the lows, but they are clear and present, even at the sub-bass levels and fill out the sound nicely. The soundstage can feel a bit narrow as everything sounds like they sort of live on the same level plane in terms of where the sounds are positioned, but left and right positioning are still decently perceived. I don't think they are the greatest pair for gaming if you are trying to track an enemies footsteps and sounds can get a big convoluted in my findings, but for everything else like all sorts of musical genres and videos, these are absolute bangers. The simple aesthetics of these are something I appreciate, and the clear faceplates give these #IEM's a pretty cutting-edge and techy look in my opinion. Probably one of my favorite looking budget sets in recent history and they are great models for pictures. The quality of IEM's you can get within the $20 range have never been better as the bars have been set so high within the recent years in the IEM space, and I think these are clear winners for Truthear.
