Have we been living after the flesh? Do we endulge in anger, gossip, rich food, expensive clothes, parties, hatred and hating eachother, drinking and other pleasures of this life? Do we have any addictions? What about intertainment? If we endulge in the sinful desires of the flesh, then we will die. This is what it means to eat and drink and be marry. Many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. This is what it means to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If we live after the flesh, we will die, Romans 8:13. The very same thing is told us by God in the guarden of Eden which is a picture of the Church, the house of God. Read what the Spirit says to the 7 churches in Revelation.
