Pastor Alistair Beg, Your message today was profoundly true. I so enjoy your way of presenting The Gospel. How wonderful it is to know that some of our American leaders still yet hold onto a Biblical worldview as it relates to All of God’s creation. May the hearts of humanity desire to know our Dear Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You pastor Alistair for being an unmovable ambassador of The Word of God for such a time as this. So much love and respect for you Sir. I pray God bless you and keep you close to His heart.❤✝️

It is interesting that you think you have the ability to determine whether or not a sermon is true or not. Take in the message without judgment of its truth. He's been given the gift to give truth whether you believe it to be true or not.

Brought me to tears. As aa American Christian, having learned of our rich Godly heritage in the Christian academy where I gave my life to Jesus, I am blown away by how far into immorality we have fallen. My prayer as a 57 year old is that we would once again hear eloquent preaching like this that might awaken us once more in these trying times.

Yes, Pastor Bagg is so darn Good! When he said that only God can make people come together, it made sense. Humans alone don't have the ability, thru their mortality, to make things better, ie, Adam and Eve. Only God can make His Promise to change both Heaven and Earth. But we are also Commanded to Pray for the Love of God. Things can be much smoother.

I like to imagine that my grandfather, who left Scotland at the age of 19 before World War I, might have sounded something like Alistair. My own pastor is my favorite, but Alastair is a very close second place. In fact, if you took away the Scottish accent, the teaching is almost indistinguishable, and that’s how I like it.

“Then He said to them, ‘Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem’” (Luke 24:46-47 NKJV). Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). What is the one and only name of salvation? Where did the name YAH come from? “Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “HAYAH ASHAR HAYAH.” [“I AM WHO I AM.” I AM is YAH] And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM {YAH} has sent me to you. Moreover God said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This {YAH} is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations’” (Exodus 3:13-15). Behold, the name which is above every name: YAH! But doesn’t God have many names? “And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as EL SHADDAI, but by My name Lord {YAH} I was not known to them” (Exodus 6:2-3). This name YAH is found in the names of prophets. 1) Elijah in Hebrew is Eliyah, which means: “YAH is my God.” 2) Isaiah in Hebrew is Yeshayahu, which means: “YAH is my salvation.” 3) Matthew in Hebrew is Matityahu, which means: “Gift of YAH.” 4) Nehemiah in Hebrew is Nechemyah, which means: “YAH comforts.” 5) Jeremiah in Hebrew is Yirmiyah, which means: “YAH will exalt.” 6) Obadiah in Hebrew is Obadyah, which means: “Servant of YAH.” 7) Zechariah in Hebrew is Zkaryah, which means: “YAH remembers.” 8) Zephaniah in Hebrew is Tsephanyah, which means: “YAH has treasured.” Hallelujah is a misnomer for the correct expression: Halleluyah, which means: “Praise YAH!” In the New King James Version the prophet Isaiah says, “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). “Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name Yah, And rejoice before Him” (Psalm 68:4 NKJV). “Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength (Isaiah 26:4 NKJV). “YAH is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him (Exodus 15:2, YAH is in the Hebrew Scriptures). “...for he said, “A hand is on the throne of YAH: the Adonai will have war with Amalek from generation to generation” (Exodus 17:16 Hebrew Scriptures). I said, “I shall not see Yah, YAH in the land of the living! I shall observe man no more among the inhabitants of the world” (Isaiah 38:11, Hebrew Scriptures). {YAH occurs 50 times: 43 times in the Psalms, in Exodus 15:2; 17:16; and Isaiah 12:2; 26:4, also in Isaiah 38:11.} Halleluyah, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! Moses asked God for His name, and God says, “HAYAH ASHAR HAYAH,” which translated means: “I AM Who I AM!” And therefore not: Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh. Scholars identify YAHWEH, not Yehweh. It is not Hallelujeh. It is not Hallelujah. It is Halleluyah! Praise YAH! The one and only begotten Son of God told the people, as found in John 8:58, that He is YAH, as He said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM {YAH}.” Upon which they picked up stones to stone Him for blasphemy! He just told them plainly that He is their God, the God of their fathers. Ever since the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem, in 587 BC, the Jews have sought to hide the name of God {YAH} from the Gentiles for fear that the Gentiles would profane the name of God. The Jews sought various ways to hide the name of God, and therefore, YHWH is always referred to as “Adonai,” which means LORD, as found in Christian Bibles.

I have listened to this 4 times and I cant hear the words enough.. So spot on.. absolute truth. Thank you Alistair.. a good servant you are.. Man without God is ruin for everything. The planet, our mental, physical and emotional health, our relationships.. To keep away from the truth is to destroy ourselves and everything we touch. Prayers for you and your ministry. Prayers for all who need the Lord.. and that's everyone. Come home brothers and sisters.. Cast all your burdens on Him who created you.. Know that the Christ Jesus took all our sins to the cross with him and paid the ransom.. Learn about him, follow him, seek to know him more and conduct your life in his ways so that lost brothers and sisters recognize the light in you that only the Spirit gives.. that they may want the same.

I love the way you put things pastor Alistair, I have enjoyed your sermons since 1987. That comment about the nation with two countries within it is a very accurate assessment of the divide within the once secure borders of this land of the USA. Our States might still be United under one federal government, but within each of the 50 states there are two diametrically opposing views and values that define us. The problem is that the majority view is giving way to the minority of the people who hold to the dystopian lack of biblical beliefs with which our nation was founded upon.

Thank you, Pastor Begg. I had stumbled onto a George Barna video of him talking about a "Christian Worldview" and I happened onto your message, for which I thank God, knowing He had a hand in directing me here. I teach on "biblical worldview" and I found this message to be concise and inspiring. I will use some of this message in my teaching. "Syncretism" is becoming quite prevalent within the church today which isn't helping the youth and we see the resulting exodus because of doubt and unanswered questions. Your message was clear and poignant. I look forward to hearing more of your teaching. I also do not find it surprising that they edited out your interviews. Politicians seem to have a keen eye on their electability, which is why so often they "talk out of both sides of their mouth," making sure they appeal to enough of the voters so as to get elected. Stressing integrity was so appropriate, but I fear is lost on the strong drive to be elected no matter the cost. Thank you for teaching truths.

In Reveletions 22, the final pages of the Bible, the whole point to entering the gates of the City of God is to eat from the tree of life, its a step beyond the eucharistic, which is grain and grape wine...

If unbelievers would only listen to this one presentation of the gospel, many would be saved. It is difficult to imagine a better, more logical proof, than that which I heard right here. @@Aurealeus God can do anything He wishes. If He desired to, He could prove His existence easily and beyond the shadow of a doubt. Personally, I believe He has. But He isn’t in the business of forcing anyone to believe. It isn’t about numbers. It isn’t a popularity contest either. That’s why His words were literally written in stone, figuratively too. @@Ray.J I'm sure you were being sincere in your response also, but your reply is just baseless assertions and doesn't even begin to answer the question I asked. @@Ray.J I read and study biblical and religious history and meditate about what I read every day. It does nothing but confirm a lack of evidence of what you and other believers claim. Simply because the bible says it, doesn't make it true without contemporaneous evidence that corroborates the claims of the bible. You're correct in saying *_"people believe all sorts of things without logical proof."_* People believe all kinds of strange things without evidence that proves they're true. Simply saying *_"proof is all around us and written on our hearts,"_* doesn't prove it is true. If it was, every non-Christian, including heart surgeons, and scientists of every other discipline throughout history would have seen *_"The proof"_* of those claims by now. "Faith" is nothing but hope and wishful thinking and doesn't prove anything. *Faith is the excuse* people give when they don't have evidence that prove what they believe or claim is true. He wrote: Thirty years ago today, I visited Tom Phillips, president of the Raytheon Company, at his home outside of Boston.

Our LORD, GOD and SAVIOUR did create the simplest fabric (H²O) to sustain all of life here on earth. Just as the Jordan and the Euphrates are made of this fabric, so to also are the Bow and the Elbow. 🌱LIFE IS BUT A VAPOUR (H²O)🌹 HOLY BIBLE Habakkuk 3:9 Thy bow was made quite naked (bare), according to the oaths of the tribes (oaths were sworn over your arrows), even thy word, Selah. Thou didst cleave (divided) the earth with rivers. 🙌ALLELUIA🙌 A-men' 🌿

Original sin, grace only, mental assent faith only, futuristic eschatological deterministic religion. That's not the answer either.

If the biblical world view is a spiritual truth it is spiritually discerned. this does not mean the human spirit as opposed to the human mind, but it does mean the Holy Spirit's action as opposed to human effort but the thing is spiritual truths are regarded as foolishness by the carnal mind ( ie the natural thinking of sinful humans) so a biblical worldview can ONLY be imparted by the Holy Spirit in one on one counsel over years. it can only be described by teachers, not imparted by teaching, for human teachers CANNOT deal with the lurking unbelief in all of us which we flatter ourselves when we think that it is simple ignorance and that right sermons will solve it I am amazed at the ignorance of scripture shown by apologists ( they are IMO the worst offenders) outside their own tine sub genre of interest. we will show we BELIEVE the world view when we are radiant with love joy peace etc with NONE of it forced by will power. until then we are full of unbelief for what we really believe is shown by our careless words and spontaneous actions. so no. i am sated with yet more sermons. none address my own unbelief and none will address yours time to seek the Lord the Spirit in your prayer closet for as long as it takes

Now if only religious people would put their money and efforts to actually helping people as the Jesus figure told them to - the sick, the infirm, prisoners, the poor, the orphans, the widows, the strangers like immigrants, then MAYBE religion would have some value in improving the human condition. Sadly it's mostly hate, fear, bigotry, judgment, condemnation, violence, grifting, sexual abuse, misogyny that is achieved. Clearly not the answer. So thoughts and prayers about that.

Mate, most of what passes as religion is silly. But do listen to Alistair. He's a breath of fresh air and preaches Christian truth with good sense.

@@jasonporter5747 I appreciate your reply. I do, however, find Christianity and the ancient texts to be violent, derogatory to women, and generally master/slave guides driven by fear. I don't believe in any of them.

@@ilovethe80sNW That, of course, is your perogative. I simply have found little truth in religious texts. It's all dogma and fear, with no proof or room for adaptation. What was written millenia ago has little application today.
