So do we forgive those that not only have harmed us, they know they have, they are glad about it, and in fact many times are laughing about the fact that they harmed you. These people have no repentance and are happy about their wickedness. Clearly, holding on to the offense will never help you. But, these people are dangerous and will harm the injured party again if the injured party reconciles without the victimizer repenting.
