Yeah, I had to pitch my voice up as I usually do on these high tunes. But it turned out pretty good. That high note at the end was a little weak but it's due to the pitching. It just doesn't work well for really high notes or really low notes. thx!

thx. I would agree that most covers just don't live up to the originals. Once in a while one is actually BETTER than the original but those are rare. Most of them on YT are just not good, imo but I appreciate the efforts. Lots of people having fun and having guts to try!

thanks. Yeah, the backing track I got from a channel called Terry Jackson. I don't know what he does but he uploads tunes wo vocals but they seem to be a little odd on the mixes so on this, the bass was loud and the drums guitar were not as loud. So I did add a smidge of my own guitars so there's like 4 guitars going on the E to D and the "gotta keep rockin" parts.

I think it was you who inspired me to look at Foreigner more thoroughly; i have two or three albums left to check out. At first I was going to mix my best of Foreigner with Survivor; but, Survivor didn't have enough material. Foreigner was, clearly, a greater band than I thought till recently! Now, I'm thinking do a music mix of Foreigner and Journey!

Thanks! Yes, i cheated. :) Pitched it up by SEVEN semitones (frets). And it was still hard hitting those last notes. It started giving me a headache. I am learning a little to sing inside my range and if I can pitch it w/o too much audio loss, oh well. :) I bet you can sing this w/o any pitching! Thanks again.
