This definitely sounds better than the PSG remix you did. The percussion isn't perfect, but it seems to be mostly in sync. Unfortunately, creating FM percussion is much harder than using the SN76489's white noise channel for snares, so they're naturally going to be somewhat underwhelming if you're not used to it. I suggest listening to Kenseiden, Golvellius, and Ys's YM2413 renditions for inspiration, those are some of the best uses of the YM2413 if you ask me.

Why dont you make a remix that takes full advantage of both FM and PSG together??

Were they ever used in such a capacity or was it even possible? If so, it would definitely be very interesting to explore. On the other hand, I might aswell make Genesis / Mega Drive remixes instead.
