Trx4 4 wheel steering😮

If I may suggest, I use a FlySky FSGT5 remote with a FlySky FSBS6 receiver. You have the option of ABS, AVC, and there’s a crawl mode that lets you choose between front wheel steering, rear wheel steering, all wheel steering and crab walk steer. The range on it is something like 200 yards with no obstructions. $70 on Amazon. You’re also able to program the remote to multiple rc cars, each additional receiver is $22. That’s the set up I’ve got on my Land Rover TRX4 4WS

Yes sir I had that same radio and receiver on my scx24 those things are awesome in this video I was just showing that you can and how to do four-wheel steering on a trx4 in general I no longer have the vehicle anymore that I appreciate your great advice cuz that is very great advice very great choice of a budget radio. Why not do a y connector and have both servos going to the same channel?

Because it's harder to drive when both are steering constantly at the same time plus I was just showing that you can make a TRX four-wheel steer

How did you mount the rear servo

Just the stock servo mount that's used on the front

Why would you not just change the outer c hubs and portals from the front to the rear rather than the whole axle. That would keep your driveshaft and diff centered

Cuz the front seat UPS don't bolt under the rear axle housing and it'd be faster and cheaper and easier in the long run of doing it that way

A bit late to the party, but in case anyone trying rear steer on the TRX4, this does not work. I used front hubs/portals bolted to the rear, but the axle shafts are the incorrect lengths. The longer front axle shaft sort of works, but the stub shaft does not. Way too short.

Try using a spectrum or futaba. I have a Futaba controller and you can adjust each servo to precise positions or power. Don't know if it will work but there is a way. Need to think about it.

Yeah I could just go the easy way an use a different radio but I want to see if I can use the stock radio first just trying to keep it budget minded so everyone can do this too is all. Thanks my friend and thanks for watching 👍👍👊

Get a remote and receiver with a mix setting . Then your all good

Just fit a aircraft V-tail mixer with adjuster pot for centering servo.

Man complicated task but with a better controller with the 5 settings you might be able to control the settings via controller.

Man if you could figure it out alot of people will follow. I have a red cat with 2 axel steer so look into the redcat controller. It should work.
