The rebal rebalcon is a great contender as well. Portals, two speed transmission, INDEPENDENT licking diffs, and comes with lights. Don't get me wrong, I have like six Traxxas trucks and I love them all. The RGT and Rebal seem to be great contenders.

The specs on this truck are totally outrageous. Before i got mine I got a Trailrunner, they're about the same money but the Tracker is 3x the truck

The only crawler I have driven so far is the 1:18 EazyRC Glacier (that we got for our 5 year old). With that said - this truck looks and drives (yes, I have seen your other video too - and of course many others) great. What I have not really found was a detailed comparison to its main competitors - especially TRX4 regarding quality, features, out-of-the-box performance. The TRX4 does not look quite as cool IMO, but has a proven track record. For this new truck - even after nearly a year of its introduction - I have not seen any long term feedback / evaluation. Still - should I get a 1:10 crawler - this is the main candidate. I just love how it looks and rides and the fact that it does not appear to need considerable investment out-of-the-box to either get it perform how it should, or to upgrade pars that keep failing (I am looking at you Arrma and your 'indestructible' Mojave that has already cost me nearly 300€ on repairs and upgraders). Should you still have & enjoy it, I would love to see some long term review and useful comparison to its peers. Thanks for great videos.

It looks great but having owned a TRX4 defender for a few years I think this would have to be pretty tough to compete at the same price

This is cheaper than a trx4 by a margin, even the defender is like $100 more and honestly this beats the trx4 hands down for value for money and I own 2 trx4 lol

You know how Bugatti sold the Veyron at a loss? They lost somethinv like 4M per car...but the publicity they got more than made up for it. I reckon we're seeing the same thing here

Yes it is value for money. However it is not as robust and tough as Traxxas. Mini servo for the diff lock may have short life, remote (dumborc) may not last long as well.

People said the same thing about trx4 electrics and still do .. though my trx4s still have the factory mini servos, as does my rgt. If you don't rag on these trucks and drive them how intended by the manufacturer, they'll last year's
