I am new. Why couldn't you plug it in receiver an control with controllers extra channel ? Has to have a board with chip to tell it cause it has a 3 wires from receiver, -,+, an signal... ? That one with the switch i Ordered for $10. On it's way. Trying to learn the wiring and how it works. I can solder, Dad was an electrician . I have a 6chn radio coming, lights, extra wire plugs, and esc. oh an the winch. little wpl c24 is getting to small for his britches .

Some controllers will work one. but most of them won't unless you have some kind of board you plug into. None of the slook controller buttons on these will work it.

They were sent to me from a viewer. I think he got them on amazon, but I have not been able to find the same ones either. Just a back bumper Is the only one I can find.

I buy the little thing you plug into the 3rd channel so the switch on your transmitter works no matter what position switch you have sorry I can't remember but I get like 3 for $15 there yellow look like one of those small 30amp esc but with yellow plastic wrapping

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. light switches or something. I used to have one and used it 1 time. And then I went to use it on another truck and could remember how to hook it up. Lol

Those wheels and tires are slick on that hi trail. Curious see how they work. Maybe since the hi trail is heavier they might work out. The winch you recommended not to buy I agree. Mine burnt the motor out quick was laughable in power. Think they sold that as a “1/8” scale winch. Now I have their smaller warn one in a grey case and that I think is “1/10” scale and it works well reliably anyways. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been making some videos just hard for me and time for now. “CasperRc” Think I’m going to get one of those Amazon winches seem pretty good.
